Do they had to switch out the dryer for another brand new one snd gave to wait 10 more days till it can be delivered and installed! Unacceptable

However, despite this added feature, the dryer still falls short in overall quality. The machine may not dry clothes effectively, leaving them damp or taking multiple cycles to fully dry. This is especially frustrating for those with larger loads or in a hurry to get their laundry done. Therefore, I would not recommend this Samsung dryer to others.

We are now 6 weeks out from the day this dryer's motor caught on fire. After four visits to our house for "inspections," Samsung finally confirmed what was obvious from the first inspection -- the motor was defective and caused a fire. Now, we are awaiting repair. At the last visit about two weeks ago, we were told the parts to repair would be received in five days. No calls/no word after a week and a half, so we called to follow up. Supposedly the part hasn't been received (never mind the original repairman had the parts and they wouldn't let him replace the motor). So again, we are back to waiting. Six weeks without a dryer and no definite repair date in sight. AGAIN -- cannot recommend more strongly that you DO NOT buy a Samsung dryer. It caught on fire 8 months after purchase and the company hasn't repaired or replaced it as required by their warranty after 6 weeks.

It cleans well and seems to be efficient with water. One issue was the door swings from right to left (same as the matching dryer) which wasn't ideal. Tried calling best buy to find a solution but they were not helpful.
