The dryer may be preset for 32 mins to dry under the normal setting but the sensor helps identify if that is really necessary. It’s reduced my dry time numerous times. Very helpful. However, please note the sensor works amazingly when the dryer isn’t too full of items.

We love our new washer and dryer. The reason with I gave 3 stars is because of the delivery of the product (I am guessing best buy use 3rd party delivery/installation option). I was charged for the installation of the equipment and when the deliver guys showed up, it seems like they were just least interested in having them install. They looked at the connection knob and said we are not able to remove that (didn't even try) and gave really hard time to my wife. We ultimately had to call our neighbor to help out since my wife is not very handy, and our neighbor was able to do it in less than a second. It is just horrible that you pay for something and have to do it yourself.

We have had it for 2 months and it stopped drying. I spent 1/2 hour with online support where they told me that I have to have a designated circuit breaker for only the dryer. IT currently is shared with the Washing Machine. They will not service my machine until I do that. I never had a problem with any other brand dryer in that location.

Called Best Buy and was given a case number and told someone would call us. That’s it. Horrible customer service on a product they sold. I had a Samsung for 13 years and it sounded NOTHING like this machine. No idea why a newer washer would be worse than my old unit that finally gave up. More than disappointed in product and Best Buy.
