Yes, the power cord is not included with the dryer and is being sold separately since the dryer can be connected directly to the power lines.

We have spent more than what we paid for it on repairing it! It’s 20 months old and we are giving it to a junk man and buying a whirlpool. At least it will work. Belt has been replaced twice as has the start switch. Stay away from Samsung!!! Horrible product.
