The rungs on the inside are not long enough to get a good tumble. Sheets roll up into a hard ball and bang around inside. You have to open the dryer every 10 minutes and shake them out. Lint trap design is terrible. Tough to open, tough to remember HOW to open, weird non-intuitive design always has me trying to put it back in backwards. I've used this dryer probably 50+ times now and every single time I have to remember how to open the lint trap to clean, and then which way to put it back in, like its the first time. I'm a pretty smart guy. It's just bad design. Oh, the tones and jingles that you cannot disable. You can't even modify the settings while it's running. Want to turn the heat up or down? Adjust the time? Nope. You have to turn it off (plays annoying shutdown jingle), then turn it back on (plays annoying startup jingle), then you have select all your settings again. This unit is in a house I am renting and I will never, ever, ever buy a Samsung dryer for my home (nor a fridge or washer, all of which are Samsung in here). I'm not sure I'd buy digital appliances period without thoroughly researching the software first. At the very least I should be able to disable ALL tones on the thing.

Though it's more expensive, you may want to consider having your comforter or duvet dry cleaned.

It was noisy but cleaned well and was much better about resisting mold on the gasket than our previous Kenmore front load. It lasted just 4 years. Today we found our it has bad bearings ($1200 repair). Tech said he sees this pretty often. FOUR years!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.How disappointing is it to use the new washer you spent so much on just for it to it to not work and per it’s first use it physically jumps around your laundry room and shakes so hard you can feel it in the few rooms over, and guess what it’s back ordered now so if we were to get same ones it’ll take even longer to get here. the customer service is “closed” when i call this is so upsetting save yourself the money and time like i am on trying to get this all sorted out and do not buy it, A. from here and B. at all

I was upgrading some ancient GE washer/dryers and this looked amazing. 2 years later the washer is leaking water from the front (gasket torn), and a few months after that we got drain pump problems. Estimate to fix $575!! Check Reddit for Samsung washer leaks and also google samsung error code SC. Lots of problems for lots of people. If you only need a washer/dryer for a year to sell a home, Samsung looks great... otherwise it's a waste of money. If you do go ahead and get one, get an extended warranty. I did, but it's taking days to get service.

The stove was damaged, the stacking kit for the washer/dryer wasn't sent and literally all that was done was plug in the refrigerator. They wouldn't run the water line and the icemaker didn't come. I had to go pick up the icemaker and pay a plumber to run the line, they came back 4 times before we got all 4 appliances installed
