great machine so far.. but the person who delivered and installed was wonderful!

I wouldn't know how the dryer works. When I purchased, I paid for install. The associate said that best buy could install. On the way out to be delivered, the delivery guys said that company policy is that they do not install gas dryers. Don't blame the delivery guys blame best buy. Called and was told they were going to escalate it up to the manager then they hung up on me. When the delivery guys got here, they were sent the wrong size hose to connect the gas line. Now I am having to pay a plumber to come out and hook up my dryer. That ill happen in about 5 days. Do not buy a major appliance from best buy. They do not know what they are doing, and they give false information. When you call them on it, They say they will look into it, but will just hang up on you

Works efficiently quietly and a grea overall purchase

If I could tell you one thing it's DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE. This washer started to get loud within about one year, second year clothes started seeming like they weren't clean. A few nights ago the drum detached and the washer almost tore my plug outlet out of the wall. My appliance repair guy who is very honest said the parts to Samsung washers are so expensive it's not worth it to fix it. I'm currently waiting on a GE washer to be delivered so they can haul this trash out of my house. I will never buy Samsung again, oh and don't fall for Best Buy Total tech. Unless you renew it every year for $200 they won't help you. Total scam.

Absolutely horrific experience. Bought this as an open box that was “good/satisfactory” and it didn’t work at all. Wouldn’t run water into the washer, tried a million ways to fix it but didn’t work at all. Makes me wonder if bestbuy even “tests” their open box products before putting them back out. So not only did my dad have to pick them up himself since delivery wasn’t an option. We now in the evening had to load them back up to return them to the store ourselves. So annoyed.

Bought this in 2021 - my brother warned me about Samsung applicances but i did not heed his warning. The washers counterweight snapped off and the washing machine sounded like a jackhammer when it was in spin mode. Had someone come out to look at it they quoted me 851 dollars which is MORE than what i paid for it. If you get it get the extended warranty. I had to buy a new washer lol

It has taken until 2/2/24 to get the washer installed. I spent excess money abtaining a plummer after 3 attempts to install the drain hose properly. If i had been told what needed to be done on the 1st installation. after calling Samsund and Bestbuy many times and paying a plummer to come out 3 times with final results. This is my last purchase from Best Buy.

Do not buy Samsung washer and dryer from Best Buy. We have had nothing but problems. We bought original ones middle of May. They were both supposed to be delivered same day. Appointment was set and day of delivery only 1 came. Had to wait a week for the other. The dryer that arrived came damaged. It was all bent and dented. We called and had to have a new one sent out (more time waiting). The original washer that came was broken, when it cycled, the machine walked itself across my floor almost 5 feet! It shook violently! Had to call and get a new washer sent out. We've had them for 5 months. Yesterday the dryer was working fine in the morning and then last night it wouldn't even power on!! Nothing is made well anymore! You spend a LOT of money on something and it breaks within the first 6 months. Uncalled for! I've been on the phone now for almost 2 hours with Best buy. Can't understand any of the reps and they can't understand me! My only option is to have a refund started and then come pick up the old ones. In the meantime I don't have a dryer for my clothes. I have to wait an undisclosed amount of time for the refund to process to my best buy card before I can purchase another Brand (I do not want this same brand!) This is a nightmare!

4 repairs in the 3 years since I purchased brand new from Best Buy. 3 times it was the drain pump. The door lock FREQUENTLY engages and opening the washing machine turns into a few hour project. It doesn't clean the clothes either. I have had to "rewash" items multiple times.... kinda defeats the purpose of a high efficiency machine if you have to wash things twice. Thank goodness I purchased the Geek Squad warranty. First repair was needed within FOUR MONTHS of purchase. Looks nice, lots of "extras" but does not clean well, poor quality, many failures and lots of 12 hour periods of time waiting for the repair man. Garbage.

Really good simply washer that not difficult to operate. Only one issue is that it downer vent and therefore prone to mold

I love the washer and dryer I bought! Samsung makes a great product. It is perfect for what I need. Simple and easy

Purchased in 2020 and it is now 2025, my gas dryer is broken no longer dries. I guess im lucky my dryer even made it to 5 years most reviews said theirs broke within the year. I am a family of four and we only used 2-3x a week. I was really hoping to make it to 10years. I am now switching to an old school dryer, these “hi-tech” appliances arent made to last. Also i am no longer purchasing samsung appliances.

I purchased this washer/dryer set in 2021 and have had to do so many repairs. Ive already had to repace the washer once in 2022 and repair the dryer twice. As of today, both machines are broken and I’m finally just replacing both appliances. I won’t buy another Samsung washer or dryer again. There’s also mold growing on the door of the washer even though I use the self clean cycle and wipe down the rubber barriers after use.

Had to return the first washer we received. It had a major water leak the first time we turned it on. We waited a week for it to be replaced. Seems o.k. now.

Yes it dries, but DO NOT GET THIS. Find a nonsmart dryer. I can only use the timed dry setting because every other setting has the dryer shut off after 5 minutes exactly no matter what setting you have it on or how you finagle the setting. It's absolutely frustrating. Imagine having 12 settings and you can only use JUST ONE. It was a waste of money. I've had it for three years. Just buy a better stackable.
