Many of these dryers are being sent broken or defective and they won't take them back rather miss work to deal with their "repair contractors" who will take forever to schedule you and fix it

Buy a dryer that won’t break after 18 months

Catastrophic failure after 3 years

Catastrophic failure after 3.5 years light use. Cost to repair by Samsung certified repair firm that no showed 3 appointments was 125% of purchase cost. Not efficient - takes hours to dry clothes

We bought this dryer after our previous Samsung dryer broke after 9 years. We were so happy with that one. This model must have been the one down from our last dryer. I hate the buttons, they are so annoying and sometimes unresponsive. The worst thing about this dryer is that it doesn't dry well on a low setting. It can take several hours to dry a medium load. It does twist up bedding into a horrible ball. If you want to dry your clothes on a higher setting to dry more quickly it shrinks them so badly. After my daughter complained for the 100th time about her clothes being ruined, I decided to finally write this review. I wish I could have my old dryer back. It was so much better. Samsung, can I return this one and pay the extra to get a better model??

Regretful

Because this dryer has an engineering design fault so it does turn the laundry one big ball and the laundry in the center of this ball never dries! Since it has a moist sensor, it keeps going and going for hours in order to dry the laundry! DO NOT BUY IT!

Returned 2x. Finally cancelled order

Upon turning it on, it made a loud and peculiar humming sound. Did not accept delivery especially as the installer indicated that it should definitely not sound like that. I reordered and scheduled delivery of another dryer. Same exact outcome. Finally cancelled my order.

Do not buy

Does everything but dry clothes

Moisture sensor is code for "we say when it is dry". While it does have many settings. They almost all equal wet clothes. They only setting that will dry your clothes is sanitize. It does not use steam like a real dryer. It uses intense heat for a long period of time. If you are thinking that you can just run it again. Nope it will say your clothes are dry and shut itself off. This is a pretty big deal as the one thing you want is a "CLOTHES DRYER" That it can actually DRIES CLOTHES!!!!!
