It does not bother me much since the washer/dryer stack is in the closet and keeping the door ajar circulates air inside the washer reducing mold buildup.

I haven't noticed any major snagging (my last stackable LG units snagged my clothes a ton) or issues however, the pause button does not unlock the door very quickly for you to add items in that you may have forgotten and I hate that. Why have a pause button? overall, the settings are not as customizable as the water temp / time / dry level selections make it seem. Many of them do not allow you to adjust them, so I use manual settings which means I often dry things much longer than they need to be dried because the sensor is not enabled for manual dry settings.

Definitely Need something to keep it in place if you have an open laundry room. It washes great, didn’t expect the spin cycle. hopefully it doesn’t break due to the shaking.

The rungs on the inside are not long enough to get a good tumble. Sheets roll up into a hard ball and bang around inside. You have to open the dryer every 10 minutes and shake them out. Lint trap design is terrible. Tough to open, tough to remember HOW to open, weird non-intuitive design always has me trying to put it back in backwards. I've used this dryer probably 50+ times now and every single time I have to remember how to open the lint trap to clean, and then which way to put it back in, like its the first time. I'm a pretty smart guy. It's just bad design. Oh, the tones and jingles that you cannot disable. You can't even modify the settings while it's running. Want to turn the heat up or down? Adjust the time? Nope. You have to turn it off (plays annoying shutdown jingle), then turn it back on (plays annoying startup jingle), then you have select all your settings again. This unit is in a house I am renting and I will never, ever, ever buy a Samsung dryer for my home (nor a fridge or washer, all of which are Samsung in here). I'm not sure I'd buy digital appliances period without thoroughly researching the software first. At the very least I should be able to disable ALL tones on the thing.

However, you should also refer to the care instructions provided by the manufacturer of your comforters, duvets, and pillows for the best results. Though it's more expensive, you may want to consider having your comforter or duvet dry cleaned.

It was noisy but cleaned well and was much better about resisting mold on the gasket than our previous Kenmore front load. It lasted just 4 years. Today we found our it has bad bearings ($1200 repair). Tech said he sees this pretty often. FOUR years!
