Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided on this dryer because we needed to be able to sanitize our laundry and with the steam function this dryer can do that without having to add any additional chemicals. A cold water line spliced from the washer is all that is necessary, so no worries about allergies or contributing to environmental pollution (aside from the electricity to heat the water). Other features I like, the "J" shaped lint trap seems to be much better at catching lint and I think it also allows for a larger surface area folded into a the same amount of space. I rate it 4 stars though because the power button is in a terrible place when (like most setups) the washer is on the left. It's always getting turned on when someone leans on the dryer especially if you read your hands on the top because it's right where your fingers naturally drape over the edge. The other less than stellar feature is the process to attach the dryer up the pedestal. I have a GE washer with a whirlpool pedestal, and albeit cumbersome, the attachment is done and the the combined unit is hoisted onto its feet. The Samsung dryer with Samsung pedestal requires lifting the dryer, guiding It's feet into the dryer center side of the pedestal v clamps, closing the clamps, then securing them, then levelling the until again because the pedestal whether leveled or not before will need adjustment. If that could be accomplished inside the pedestal whilst the drawer is removed, it would save a lot if back ache, but the whole ordeal ideally needs a 3rd person to help guide the two people lifting it onto its its new throne.
