    I bought a dryer with a steam and sanitation function. I didn't realize until after the delivery that the dryer had not been installed to the water supply. The delivery was done by a third party company.

    This dryer doesn’t dry clothes. It doesn’t matter what setting we use. We had it repaired once already. They replaced the heater, which actually wasn’t broken in the first place. It did nothing. Clothes are still damp every time, on every dry cycle. Do not buy this dryer!!! Side note, the customer service was 5/5 as far as scheduling and coming out on time, but unfortunately it did nothing to help the situation.

    ALONG WITH REPLACING THE WASHER 3 TIMES. I WILL NOW HAVE TO REPLACE THE DRYER FOR THE 2ND TIME. THE PANEL WILL NOT WORK BOTH UNITS.

    Doesn’t function properly. Leaves clothes damp. Only one setting works and that’s faulty. Indicates or hour and fifteen minutes, however shuts off in a half hour leaving clothes wet. When starting it over again it shuts off in five minutes. Waiting to have it replaced . I have a month to wait for this to happen.

    **DISCLAIMER**I purchased my dryer at a discount in return for my honest feedback. I received my Samsung DVE50A8600E series Dryer and must admit that I was taken aback by the beauty of the unit. The design is the best I have seen from Samsung to date. Paired with its equivalent washer model and you’re doing laundry in style. The capacity is huge, easily fits the full load from the washer. The dry options are endless. The dryer has several different settings to dry your clothes at, one being the super speed setting is great if you are short on time. The steam option is great, including an option to steam sanitize. In todays Pandemic, well, that is a blessing to say the least. I for one use that cycle the most to dry almost everything except the delicate items. The dryer lets you know to check the filter before using and it also detects if the exhaust line gets clogged, both are great features to have. The dryer has WI-FI capability so you can connect it to your home network. No more setting a timer or checking over and over to see if the clothes are dry. You now can simply get a notification via the SmartThings app (Android or iOS) to whatever device you have set up on it. Literally that can be your phone, your TV, your refrigerator, your tablet, etc. The Dryer has the option to let you control it from your phone as well, if it only had arms to fold your laundry, lol! The LED lighting on the panel is bright enough to be seen clearly, it is not overbearing one bit. The pressure needed to operate the controls is just right, the dial knob rotates easily. All in all the dryer is constructed nicely. If you decide to buy a dryer this year, this is the one to get.

    Quiet and Capable

    I have thrown a lot of variations of clothes and blankets and towels at this dryer and it has handled them all with ease. The sensor does a great job of finishing the load properly, and it's turbines spin the largest blankets with ease as it drys up my laundry. Paired up with the washer, it synchs up with the machine to ensure you get the right recommendation for load type. I love the speed dry feature and have gotten full loads washed and dried in under an hour. The large load sizes are no worry for this dryer, as it handles the comforters and towels until they are done. I could do without the long song at the end, but it's not terrible. The integration with smart things app is awesome. I can check the status of my load from anywhere and get notified when it's done. The features are great, such as stream wrinkle care and the lint trap indicator being capable of holding a lot more lint and telling you when you need to change it. Definitely recommend

There was an issue with the dryer that we realized after the techs had installed it. Samsung support was very helpful and got someone out to fix the problem within a few days. The washing machine is beautiful. It seems quite large for a front loading machine. It has multiple wash settings though I have only used the normal setting so far. The clothes all come out very clean. The machine is the extremely quiet when it runs. The dryer is almost identical to the washer and is also very quiet. It drys the clothes perfectly. Both the wash and dryer are compatible with Samsung smart hub. I use this feature, which gives me the ability to control some of the washer and dryer features from my phone. The best part of this is that it alerts my phone and Samsung smart watch when the load is complete. This comes in handy more than I would have thought as I often forget I'm doing wash, especially when the machine is so quiet. This feature works through the internet so these alerts come through even when I am away from the house. I would definitely recommend both the washer and the dryer to anyone but particularly those who are interest in smart home technology. So far, I am 100% satisfied with these products!

    Laundry just got a lot simpler

    **DISCLAIMER**I purchased my dryer at a discount in return for my honest feedback. Laundry just got a whole lot easier with this new dryer from Samsung. Initially I thought the WiFi option was a silly thing to have on a dryer, but I was definitely wrong. If your laundry set up is in the basement of your house like mine, you know the struggle of knowing when the load you are currently washing or drying are done. Struggling to remember if you heard the buzzer go off is a thing of the past with the SmartThings app. The SmartThings app on my phone is now a life saver and saves me time since alerts are sent straight to my phone. Something that I find very convenient on the Samsung dryer is how big the lint trap and filter are. The lint filter when removed actually opens which allows for a lot more lint to be caught in my opinion. Also any lint that may not have ended up in the filter can easily be cleaned with a vacuum hose due to filter insert being large and easily accessible. The SmartThings app also tracks the amount of energy the appliance is using, which is nice to see since the appliance is electric. All in all, I am beyond happy with this dryer.

    Efficient dryer

    I have been using my nice, big dryer for two weeks. I have challenged it with all types of loads: delicates, jeans, blankets, handmade quilts, as well as routine laundry loads. It has handled everything beautifully. The only thing I don’t like about this dryer is the lint filter. It seems like it will wear out quickly because I have to open it to clean it. But, I can live with this small issue because of the quality of the dryer. I do like that it plays me a little tune to let me know it’s job is done! I appreciate that there are 10 pre-set cycles which do come in handy with the variety of loads I do. The interior drum light is a nice feature. The reversible dryer door is, I am sure, an asset to some, but it works well for me the way it came. The Clean Guard long lasting antimicrobial function will be of benefit for washing the grandchildrens’ clothes!

    Great temporary dryer for the right price

    Great dryer!! Got open box for dirt cheap and it made it worth it. Be SURE to check out the (pending) class action lawsuit against Samsung dryers before paying full price though… I can see the drum partially separating already - but got it so cheaply that I don’t mind if it only lasts a year.
