I have been a repeat buyer of Samsung products over the years. From Tv's to Home Appliances. Our last dryer only last a few years and we decided to replace it with this model. When we purchased our last dryer, we had to have Best Buy come out and replace it because it was defective. We received this unit and are uncertain if this is the case as well. The unit shuts off automatically, leaving the clothes damp. The sensor is clean and the vents are also cleaned out. There is clean flow of air. Whether we use the heavy duty function or the times dry, the dryer decides when the clothes are dry or not. This is aggravating as we are now spending hours trying to dry our clothes. And no, the dryer is not overloaded, the lint is cleaned out and the ducts have been recently cleaned. We even turn off eco dry function and it still turns off early. Can anyone explain how we fix this?

The dryer is smooth and dry very well. i recommend it to every one

The good: It dries really quickly and evenly if all the items are made out of the same material and thickness. The bad: If you have some towels mixed in with T-shirts, the towels will be damp at the end of the cycle. If you are drying jeans, the seams will always be damp. If you have something that just needs a little bit extra, good luck figuring that out. There are 9 pre-program settings which can be summarized as: No air, low, medium, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot. Did you notice that most of the setting are hot? Well, they are. If you want low, you have to select Delicate. If you want medium, you have to select Permanent Press. Everything else defaults to high. I put a piece of tape on Delicate that says Low and another on Permanent Press that says Medium so I can find them more easily. Would you like to change the auto-sensing dryness to the permanent press or delicate? Sorry, you can't do that. We mere mortals aren't smart enough to realize we that we really don't need it and the Samsung engineers have prevented you from changing this. Would you like to add some more time to the Permanent Press setting. Again, I mention that some engineer or marketing person thinks I shouldn't be allowed to change it. After all, I should know better to leave it as is. The point here is that if you don't want to think about how to dry your clothes, and if you like the hottest, scorching setting, then by all means this is your dryer. So, the end result is to do a second drying by selecting 20 minutes on timed dry and turning up the dryness level because 20 minutes is just how much the dryer thinks you think you need. After all, it's smarter than me and will decrease the time if it senses it is dry, which it is if you consider 90% dry. If I was to by this again, I wouldn't. Samsung, please please please give me a software update which lets me configure my drying the way I like it. I've read this same complaint in Reddit from 15 years ago!!! I must be in the minority because they haven't changed it. And, I forgot to mention. I'm not living in Asia with the cutesy sounds that have to play when the cycle is done. A good old buzzer is fine. I purchased the dryer based on the Samsung name. I wanted some thing that would last. I am definitely going to figure out how to test the next dryer I purchase and make sure I can dry the way I want to.

Another great appliance from Samsung. I was a long standing whirlpool fan when it comes to washer and dryer. I switch to Samsung and zero regrets.

The dryer is great. However I was damaged when it was delivered. Asked for a replacement and that was damaged as well. So I stuck with the original and asked for compensation. Customer service approved the GC. I am yet to receive. I am a rewards member and a credit card holder. I will start buying my appliances from Lowes. They have better customer service.

The dryer doesn't completely dry especially on bedding you have to do it 2x. Thats unexceptional seeing its new including clothes.
