Great purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great price for the size and brand. Samsung has never let me down. Easy set up but wish controller had more options. Also why are newer TVs having less hdmi inputs smh.

Insufficient model selection for 70" screen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has a fairly decent picture. Having only 2 HDMI ports is a really bad joke, requiring me to make a choice/sacrifice on what I can hook up/watch. I thought standard households typically have a DVD player, Cable Box, Surround Sound, and/or a firestick. I can't believe additional HDMI ports add much cost to the manufacturing, and insufficient ports really detour the enjoyment from this TV. A 70" screen is the perfect size for the location I had to mount it, but unfortunately there is a very limited selection, and all lower end models (series 6 versus 7, 8, or 9) for the 70" screen size.

Failed after 18 months.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this TV since December 15, 2020. Was initially impressed by the overall quality and ease of use. However, this past Saturday (June 11, 2022), I tried to turn the TV on and got a quick flicker, then black. The red LED is blinking quickly twice, off, then repeats. Troubleshooting says to unplug the tv from the power supply for 60 seconds, hold power button down for 30 seconds, and many different versions of the same. Also will not come on when plugged directly into outlet, so not a surge protector issue. Nothing has solved the problem. Apparently it has a CPU issue or capacitor failure somewhere. I'm 18 months into it with a 12 month warranty. I don't know what to do next. Hello Samsung...?

Great TV for cheap
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't had a new tv in 14 years. My last TV was a 50 inch samsung and its still works great so I decided time for an upgrade. I took the chance on this 70 inch smart tv and I couldn't be happier. The picture quality is amazing....the tv is light in weight and very thin so it mounted easily. If your looking for an upgrade that won't break the bank this is it for sure. Sports and movies have been awesome on this

Great picture, won't break the bank
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our third Samsung TV, and we keep going back to this brand because each iteration seems to offer more and more. The TV Plus feature offers over 100 channels of interesting content from game shows to DIY videos to relaxing nature scapes. The sound quality is better than you would expect from rear facing speakers. The picture quality is exceptional. I would hasten to say best in it's class. Great purchase choice.

Excellent display, incredible value for money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I threw down a respectable $550 on this huge TV with low expectations. I was surprised by the image quality for the money. If I have two tips for any prospective owner ... 1. Disable motion smoothing in the settings, it's absolutely hideous. and 2 ... purchase an HDMI switch because this set only has two (yes, TWO!) HDMI ports. I have no regrets over my purchase, it's incredible value for money.

Only lasted 2 years with issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great tv at first! Great picture, sound, OS was a little slow but didn’t really use it that much. Fast forward a year and a half and I got a huge green line across my screen. The trouble shooting features within the tv says it’s not the tv and that it’s the HDMI connections or settings even though it is present on every single device and cable I’ve used. This only happens when certain colors appear. Today I tried to power on my tv and noticed it wouldn’t turn on and it would keep turning off my soundbar and Xbox. I started trouble shooting and realized my tv was turning on but with no picture, just two little light bars on the top right of the screen, then turn off. I tested my Xbox without the HDMI plugged in and it stayed on, meaning it was turning off because of the CEC commands being sent to it from the TV. Now I have a $700 brick and will totally be okay with spending more money for the Sony Bravia series since I know it’ll last longer than two years. My overall lesson here is to spend more money upfront to save money down the line. I will no longer be buying Samsung products. Also I do not have warranty on it since it would only be covered for one year and as of today it’s been 2. Do not recommend.
