Pretty, but short lived

For the name and price I expected a longer lasting appliance. The fix was more than half the cost of a newer model so we upgraded and will no longer trust Samsung the way we did. Good while it lasted, not worth the money when you want to use it every day.

First Best Buy in particular gave inexcusable service, delivery and set up, and as a Total Tech member, the service they gave was ridiculous. That's another story I can go into with that review. The didn't publish my last review, so I will be keenly watching for this one. I finally got home to try the tv, nothing was set up. Nothing is plugged in. I had to fish my old HDMI cable from inside the wall from my old tv and set everything up. Here is the final straw. It has LED bleeding on the sides and corners, and blotchiness with black levels that are very inconsistent. Please see the pictures. There is also bad picture when up converting and a lot of artifacts and motion blurring. If you adjust the settings you end up with tearing image issues. If you have a former analog source that was converted to digital, it can be horrible. The whole point of getting a Samsung TV over a lesser brand was better processing and up converting. This particular TV doesn’t do it as well as my current HDTV, any of them. I have asked them to return it, and the Geek Squad/ Total Tech couldn’t figure that out and said they would call me back in 2 hours. They never did, not a surprise. I finally went into the store and they exchanged it for a Vizio P series 75 inch. Huge difference and a much better TV. I will write a review in about a wee on that one.

My 2nd large Samsung TV

Upon speaking with Samsung about the issue they agreed to take care of the repair. They sent someone to repair it at the person said that the display panel had simply burnt out and needed replacement. At that time Samsung refused to take care of the issue and totally ignored me after that. They showed no regard or concern when the television I paid $2000 for only lasted a year and 4 days. The only reason I purchased the new 8 series by Samsung is because a friend of mine had an incentive that I used after the purchase getting $750 back. Other than that, I will never buy anything else made by Samsung because they are a sorry company that simply dosen't care for you after the purchase. I have also advised all of my family and friends along with thousands of people through social media as to my experience with the company, and will continue to do so. But I do need to say that bestbuy had absolutely nothing to do with that situation, and was not responsible for it in any way.

Screen has hot spots. Too big to return

I have several tv’s in my home and the larger Samsung TC’s seem to be the only brand I have this problem with. I have them professionally installed per the instructions.

I do not recommend this product to anybody

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2 months old with my brand new tv and im very dissapointed, i cant even return it , first problem appeared last sund 1/26/20 i saw a tiny line all across the tv vertical and horizontal I check in all chanels and its definitely a factory problem , now 2 days later my tv does not turn on at all so its even worse i feel angry i spent my money on something that is not worth it
