8000s not what it used to be

But that’s the thing Samsung’s 8000 model didn’t used to be “just fine” struggles with fast motion, linking other remotes are a struggle.. but for the price it’s “just fine”.

You can optimize pictures that contain a lot of motions with Picture Clarity Settings. To turn this function on or off, press the Select button. To set the detailed options, press the up directions button, and then select Picture Clarity Settings.
To control other external devices connected to your TV using the Samsung remote control, you can also us the Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) function without any additional setup.
1. Set Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) to On.
2. Connect an HDMI-CEC-compliant device to the TV.
3. Turn on the connected external device. The device is automatically connected to the TV. After the connection process is finished you can access the menu of the connected device using your TV remote and control the device.

The only thing I don’t like is, the limited voice capability of Alexa and google. It’s difficult to get the devices to sync. The tv will turn off via voice command but it won’t turn on, just an example. Overall, I am enjoying my purchase.

I love how you can stream straight to it, and you don’t have to use another device like chrome way to do so. Sound is loud, but not loud enough. We will be purchasing a sound bar eventually!

The delivery was safe ad delivery people were polite and professional. We set up the TV easily and we were using it almost immediately. We would highly recommend it.

If you want a big screen without pay too much, this tv is your choice. Blacks are awesome, tv contrast is excellent. I am using only with streaming TV, no cable or satellite.

It does have a bit of glare. It is better for a darker room. The TV connection to smart home was easy. I like being able to control the tv with my phone or via Bixby

The bad points - 1. CANNOT REMOVE pre-installed apps, and there are many. This leads to endless scrolling through a series of icons to get to what I WANT. 2. HDMI and USB connectors are placed too far from the edge of the frame so that you CANNOT easily access them when the set is mounted on a wall. Connectors are 12" from edge of set and you need a very long, slim arm to reach them. 3.UI is very Cluttered and NOT INTUITIVE. $> Terminology used for opt outs is vague and backwards. Read carefully to make sure you select the correct box to opt out of add ware and updates.

The Samsung Smart Hub offers a large collection of popular apps ranging from entertainment, fashion, sports, weather, games, streaming, VOD, kids, and much more.
Please know that you can customize the Smart Hub by removing apps from or adding apps to the home screen. You can also rearrange apps to your liking.
Simply select an app, press, and hold the Enter key. You’ll see a popup menu with options to move or remove it.

Amazing TV, except for brightness.

Everything else about the TV is perfect. Today's shows and movies are dominated by dark scenes it seems, and it is really hard to see much definition in those situations because the max brightness is not very high.

It comes boxed in a Sherman tank. This thing is so smart, it literally set itself up and connected to the surround system.
