In a dark background there are big black/grey spots all around the edges in the TV. Very disappointing!!! I would not recommend this TV .. I have others old Samsung TV never had this problem

Backlight Bleed

FIRST: As other reviewers have stated, there is going to be some backlight bleed on the edges. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of how much. You're better off going for the Sony X750H which is a much better TV without backlight bleeding issues for roughly the same price. SECOND: The plastic trim on the lower lift corner was cracked when received. It's already a little raised on the corner, so there's stress in the design to begin with. Overall, the 2020 Samsung line is a DOWNGRADE from prior years. Basically, the 2020 8 Series is comparable to the 2019 7 Series, and so the trend goes throughout the line. Ended up going with Sony and MORE than happy with it.

Terrible choice... It looks nothing like a 4k Tv I tried changing the settings and all... Overall DISAPPOINTED

It also transforms everything you watch into stunning 4K HDR. It also comes with Dolby Digital Plus that optimizes your entertainment experience with enhanced sound richness and clarity.
There are several preset picture modes and many custom settings that can optimize image quality for your viewing scenario.
Go to HOME > SETTINGS > PICTURE > PICTURE MODE and choose:
1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
2) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
3) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
4) Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
5) Filmmaker: Watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is.

Samsung used to mean quality

I'd spend my money on another brand. I chose the Samsung for quality. Open the box and it's shipped with two left stands. Obviously you have to call the manufacturer to get the replacement parts. 10-14 days to get a replacement... Besides that being an issue the entire Samsung customer service is horrible. All responses are scripted and obviously not in the United States. Won't by a samsung product again.
