I am sorry to hear that you are seeing screen abnormalities on your new TU8000 TV. Please run a Picture Test to determine if the problem is caused by the TV. Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test
If this occurs on all sources and the picture test, this will require service. So we can better understand the problems you are experiencing and provide you with troubleshooting assistance or warranty service, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

Thank you for purchasing the TU8000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing WiFi connection issues.
You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

Picture Not Bright Enough

You cant see it at all on a sunny day even on the Dynamic setting. You have to leave it on the brightest picture setting even at night because everything else is just too dark. Definitely a budget TV and my next one will be a better quality TV.

Nothing but problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible quality, 2 years into owning it, the bottom third would go darker than the rest of the screen and it would do this intermittently with no way too fix it. Then, 4 years into owning it, it died on me completely. Just a flashing black screen as soon as you plug it in.

Shortly after the warranty expired, the screen developed a dark area at the bottom edge of the screen. About 8 months later, a second dark area appeared on the left edge of the screen.
