Huge UHD TV monitor for good price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About four years ago I purchased a TV at Best Buy. I got the 5 year Geek Squad warranty and that TV broke. This was what we negotiated to replace my 70" HDTV. As such I am quite pleased, I will explain positives and negatives as clearly as I can. The basic sound with this TV is terrible. Change it to enhanced and it is quite good, very easy to hear and it projects well. It is a bit boomy as it has an enhanced bass feature that you cannot adjust once you pick the enhanced sound mode. That's a little annoying, but most TV shows don't exhibit this "defect" too much, so depending on your environment, you may or may not notice it. We have 24" studs in our walls, so they vibrate more than the standard 16" studding would. The picture is vibrant, bright, and the TV does a good job at upscaling from 1080p and 1080i. There is minor image smear once in a while, but mostly it keeps up. I needed to adjust the voice delay to get lip synch. That might be a matter of my Comcast is 1080i and needs more processor time to get it to 2160p. Netflix is stunning when playing 4K native mode. We have 100kb+ internet and the 4K is simply amazing. Perhaps there is better, but going from 1080p to 4K is heart stopping. This TV is 5" diagonally bigger than the old TV, but because the border around the TV has gotten smaller in those 4 years, it is only marginally larger. We adapted to the larger image in a few days. However, I'm still taken by the brightness, color, and clarity of the image. The TV we had was a Sharp, so it was no slouch, but this one blows it away. We have only used the smart remote a little, as we have an universal remote and it handles all our home theater equipment well. Those used to an ipod will feel comfortable immediately with the universal remote. However, it's not just up down type controls. It's onscreen control. As such we pretty much just set it aside and use it if needed. Would I recommend this TV to others? I would, I like it a lot. It's a pleasing TV. If I were to buy it, the price seems very good when one compares the quality and capabilities of the TV. We use it for Blu-Ray, Netflix, and Comcast. All worked right out of the box without error. I'm very pleased with the upgrade.

Great TV for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV during the 4 day Labor Day sale. It was above my price range but had dropped into it during the sale. I was a little worried the morning they installed it due to some reviews talking about shadowing etc. They installed it on a wall in my living room and fired it up and WOW it was great. I did turn on Netflix after they left and noticed the shadows they were talking about but that was my internet catching up to the 4k. Once it did the picture was unbelievable. I have already watched 3 TV shows and tried a game for my XBox and they all looked great. They are right though you have to turn the TV way up for good volume but it was a non issue after I hooked it up to my receiver. If this TV is in your price range I would highly suggest taking a look.

Cant beat it for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just picked this up 2 days ago and am blown away. Went from a LG 65” 1080p to this Samsung 75” 4k. WOW! If you are worried about 4K content, dont be. With Youtube on the TV there are days worth of content to enjoy. Setup was a breeze...just be sure NOT to accept the ads. If you blindly click through the setup, thats on you. If you are thinking of picking this up you better have a truck or XL SUV(Suburban) with all the seats down. The box was huge. As long as the TV holds up, I couldnt be happier!

Great Tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv 3 days ago. After having played with diisplay settings, the picture quality became very good. In 2006 had bought 65" model of the same 6300 series. However, this one seems to be more responsive with smart remote. I would recommend this tv to anyone who is in the market for a 75" tv. There may be " better " options out there. However, this tv is really good.

Smart, but not that smart
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is decent. It doesn't handle motion terribly well, which is a downer given I bought this for football season approaching. Slow video looks great - 4K content is lacking from TV and cable, but there's plenty on YouTube to make your jaw drop. My biggest problem with this TV is the lack of apps. If you're going to make a smart TV, wouldn't you make the apps available for 2 of the biggest online cable providers - Sling and DirecTV Now? Seems like a no brainer to me. Yet neither are available, making the smart feature not that smart.

Not good for ice hockey
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good solid picture but sports has issues. Cannot use dynamic picture setting with ice it turns blue. It's old technology stretch with Samsung. LG far better on ice hockey no puck jitter etc.

4 years is not enough
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This being a Samsung I thought the quality brand would last me for a LONG time. I got four years out of this TV and it just died on me. TV repair guy quoted $400 to fix the issue.
