Great picture for a budget 4K tv

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this 75" TV with little expectations due to the price of about $1,200 when I purchased it, when I got it home and messed with a few settings I can honestly say I was surprised at the picture quality and especially the sound which was clear and dose have really nice bass for a tv this thin but what was also great was the blacks on this TV was actually black and not grey or washed out black, so good on some dark sceans it looks like its off(yes that good). I believe this 75" tv now goes for about $900 and is a steal for a first 4K smart TV or even a second TV for the home.

That bad thing is the picture quality is so bad it makes HD channels look non HD. I’m talking to the sales reps and others the issue with 4K TVs is that no cable provider are set up with 4K and the ones that are it’s a couple of channels it’s not even worth the time. Now movies are amazing on this tv as well as video games. I’m a big sports watcher and I end up watching the games on me old Samsung smart tv that’s not 4K and the quality is saddled amazing compare to my new 4K.

I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with the NU7100 picture quality.
Here are a few tips that may help you enjoy more of the 4K viewing experience:
1. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out. It is also designed with lots of custom settings, allowing users to adjust images to their liking.
2. In addition to the display screen, the quality of the image on your screen also depends on the source and the connection.
HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4k Content will provide the best picture quality.
3. The quality of the streaming content depends largely on the speed of your internet, as most content providers have adaptive streaming that would automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.
