This Q80 SamsungTV is real serious. After getting the basement finished, this 75" beauty was installed and it's amazing. Crystal clear, wifi enabled and smart apps. Love this beauty!

This has been a good tv so far. Only problem is that “bixby” kind of like Alexa, is a pain in the butt. We are trying to disconnect her, but every time we say something that sounds like “bixby” the tv talks to you. We have also had issues where the tv keeps turning on by itself. Mind you, the remote is in a basket under the tv. It’s not somewhere that it could accidentally be touched.

This was a huge upgrade for us ... we were moving from a 10 year old 42” LCD. I am in love with the TV

Great picture quality. Shows as well as it did on display in the store. Nice added bonus of free live tv stations from Samsung.

Expensive but worth it. We turned off the automotion because that made it look 3d/weird to us, some may like it. Picture is amazing.

ZERO stars if that was an option! Bought this t.v. on 9/08/19 at Best Buy store #308 Orland Park, IL. After installing it, I turned it on and noticed a discoloration in the upper left corner of the screen. As I peeled the protected film off I saw a small crack that continued to spread the more the film was removed. Went back to Best Buy but was told there was nothing they could do (except sell me another t.v. Are you serious?!) and I needed to call the Samsung customer service number. After 2 calls to Samsung, I was told they could not help me. Based on the 2 or 3 cell phone pictures that I sent them they concluded that I obviously broke the screen and wouldn’t even send a repair person to check it out! I didn’t spend over $3,000.00 on a t.v. to get it home and mishandle it! I was not rough with it. I did not drop it. I took it out of the box and hung it up! I’m just sick over this! I have waited a long time to afford a t.v. like this and chose a Samsung because of their quality and reputation; but now all I have is a broken $3,000 t.v. screen and neither Samsung or Best Buy seem to care! Buyer beware! They will be helpful when they take your money from you, but when you really need someone to help you, you are on your own!!

I purchased a Samsung Q80 75 inch television. It took me a long time to choose to be honest. I have always bought Sony and have always been impressed with their products. Only on 2 occasions this being one of them have I bought a Samsung. And both times I have been disappointed. The first was a plasma that quit working after a 1 year. Now this brand new Q80 out of the box has the back of the TV pulling away from the bezel. Apparently they went with plastic clips instead of screws as a result they tend to break during shipping. Samsung has strung me along for the last week on getting it fixed. There is nobody in my area who will come and fix it yet they keep trying to get a tech to come out and each time they all say they can’t. Same company twice called and said they wouldn’t come out. Wish Samsung would get it together and quit stringing me along. This is what I was worried about in the reviews before I bought. Poor build quality and poor customer service. Do yourselves a favor, spend the money and get Sony. At least you know they stand behind their product and have much better customer service. Will update as this continues....

This is a great tv with phenomenal picture quality. It does a great job with local dimming if you are familiar with the technology and know what to look for from model to model. Our viewing distance is rather far, approximately 17-20 feet from screen to eyeballs. You do have to play with the picture settings to get it dialed in, but once dialed in, it is awesome. It handles motion well and dark scenes look awesome, especially with all of the lights off. Now if you're like me and like the latest tech, and you're looking at a Q80, you may find yourself debating between this and an OLED. In my opinion, and this is coming from somebody who owns a 55 inch C8 OLED (master bedroom), the oled isn't worth the extra money. And I can afford it. I like both technologies a lot, and if you understand local dimming and what it's about, you probably know that all an OLED does better than this tv is black levels, which is what local dimming works to mimic or produce in a tv that has local dimming features and is not an OLED. Now would I take an entry level local dimming tv over an OLED? Definitely not. I used to scoff and chuckle at claims that Qled was as good as Oled or even better than Oled. After owning this tv and seeing what it is capable of, I am a believer now. Granted, when I go to the bedroom and turn on the Oled, it still has a phenomenal picture to me. But the high end Qleds do too, and if you are on the fence I say give this tv a shot. I have returned more tvs in my day than most people could count or want to fool with and I can assure you that this monster is not going back. I love it !

The new QLED 75" has enhanced our TV watching experience by quite a few notches to bring the movie theater home. The 75" is definitely a big upgrade from our previous LCD TV, but the QLED provides amazing movie theater like picture to our home. The real life like colors, bright and true, make tv watching fun and exciting. The remote design is pretty sleek, but needs to getting used to, given the minimal button design. The Smart Things pairing is a cool feature. I can sit and watch the TV, without a care as to the washer cycle is up or the clothes are dried or the oven cycle is done. The reminder just pops on the screen and these are super nice set of features. But the feature that i really love is the ambient mode. The multiple modes with its stock images/ videos are backed up with soft music giving a soothing experience. Look forward to creating our personal album on this mode. The set of native apps make it easy to switch and surf programs. The pairings with set top box and roku was seamless and was completed without much effort. Overall, we have been very pleased with this purchase, as it surpasses expectations for picture quality and the overall ease of navigation across its apps and cable STB

Great picture loved it but 5 years in and the Motherboard needed to be replaced cause it would not connect to the internet. It was still under my total tech for 3 months when I called about it, geek squad came and replaced the motherboard. Worked great for about 3 months now it’s not connecting to the internet again.
