    More than I anticipated to pay for a new television. But believe in the Samsung brand for TVs (this is my second). Love the detail!

    As expected, the Geek Squad came and installed our new 75 inch Samsung. It is wonderful and the service was professional and courteous. Thank you again for having such professional members on you Geek Squad.

    Overall this is a huge upgrade from my 2015 JS8500 Samsung

    Local Dimming Issue

    I'm only giving this television one star at the moment due to what seems to be a software issue with the local dimming feature. This issue has been confirmed by multiple owners on an AV enthusiast forum. When working local dimming allows the tv to deliver an excellent picture however at the moment local dimming stops working correctly when powering on from sleep mode. The only way to correct this is to long press the power button and force the tv to do a hard restart. Hopefully Samsung can fix this issue via a software update soon. If so the tv would deserve five stars. An easy way to tell that local dimming has stopped working is to switch between the three settings of low, medium and high. You should see an obvious difference between each option. If there appears to be no difference then you need to perform a hard restart of the television to correct the issue.

Quantum Matrix Technology is powered by exclusive Mini LED designed technology engineered to give you hyper-focused brightness and dimming in all the right areas. First, please ensure the ECO sensor in your TV is off and not adjusting the brightness level. You can disable these features for a steady brightness setting.

      Disable Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer by going to: Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > and adjusting the Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting.

      To optimize your picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1506.0 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      You may also want to enable Auto Update for convenience.

    Very bright picture and great sound through the TV and sound bar together. Geek Squad did a good job of installation. I would highly recommend this product with the installation since it is so large.

    TV is great, set up and installation by Total Tech was A JOKE!! The in-home rep that created the proposal was useless…TV doesn’t connect properly to the receiver!

    TV is great. Our service from Tyrone and partner was terrific. They attached the tv to the wall and then preceded to adjust the television. Everything works great.

    We upgraded our 65 inch LG to this Samsung 75 inch and couldn't be happier. The picture quality is great and because our room has a lot of daylight, this TV has much better viewing.

    Dead pixels on the screen after just a couple weeks, doct waist your money on backlit tvs get an OLED that's what I did, lg OLED has the best quality picture and overall quality period

    WAITED FOR TV TO GO DOWN IN PRICE, IT DID EVENTHOUGH THIS IS A 2021 MODEL. 2022 MODEL “B” JUST CAME OUT RESEARCH SHOW VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE.

    Nice, big, bright picture. Samsung apps are limited. Now for the issue: Bought the TV approx 3 months ago. Use it less that 30 hours per week. 2 days ago, I heard a few low, deep bass noises coming from the TV and then some popping. Screen went dark blue and then died. The distinct smell of burning electric was coming from the TV. Repair person is coming in a few days. Personally, this should be replaced and not repaired. If a circuit board is burned out, what caused it? Something must have caused an arc (is my guess). I use surge protectors etc. This is a fire hazard waiting to happen

    I like the internet and the amount of free tv. You can get free shows on peacock. Minimizing subscriptions is easy on this tv.
