This is an outstanding TV. If you are looking for a TV that has great contrast and brightness, then consider this one. The full array backlighting is a huge feature. I was debating on an LG OLED, but I am more than happy with this QN90A.
Also the remote is charged with a solar panel on the back.

Love my new neo Samsung tv. I chose the 75 inch unsure that it might be too large but it’s perfect. Picture is fantastic, crisp clear and bright! Watching the animals on Samsung tv clarity 4k blew me away looks amazing. I like the remote, chargeable and charges itself too just by sunlight, or light. Easy to use and nice style. I have always bought Samsung TVs and this one did not disappoint.I did add a soundbar for when streaming movies but tv speakers also sound very good. I feel like I’m sitting at the theatre highly recommend this tv.

The picture quality is amazing. The colors are rich, and the contrast makes for a very realistic picture. The blacks are really black, which is very important for realism. Plus I love having 75 inches of goodness!

We didn't think the 75-inch screen would tremendously increase our enjoyment of watching streamed movies, but that's now a newly exciting experience. The picture is outstandingly sharp at our 9-foot viewing distance. It even seems well able to upscale most older movies to the new screen. And it's wonderfully bright even with sun coming into the room. We usually use external speakers through a receiver (a year-old purchase from Best Buy also working superbly), but on occasion we listen to the TV's speakers which are satisfactory. The relatively narrow base is attractive and very sturdy, which allowed us to put it on the old stand used with our previous 42- inch plasma TV. We're really glad we got the new TV.

I have been very pleased with this purchase so far. The picture is amazing. The most satisfying part for me is how clear the picture is during dark scenes (without having to make adjustments) in a movie/tv show, which, to me, have always been unclear and had low visibility. The ambient feature where you can personalize various views is also very impressive. Even though this tv is not The Frame, it can still display vivid pictures that can add a personal touch and accent the room it is in. I am also very pleased with the rechargeable remote which can be charged via the solar energy feature or connecting a wall charger. Overall, I am very glad to have made this purchase and would highly recommend it.

Great picture, I may have got lucky but I have no DSE unlike my older Samsung MU8000. The mini led technology has deep blacks, good contrast and no real world viewing, blooming that I’ve seen. Very happy with my 75 in purchase

TV's have become so similar it's hard to recommend one over the other. However, I've really enjoyed my Samsung. It has video game mode which is great for my PS5. It has some color issues every now and then but they're easily ignored by how beautiful the overall picture is.

Love this TV. When from an old 1080HD 70" Sharp LCD to this QN90A 75". Worlds apart. My viewing room has bright sunlight from multiple angles, and the TV handles it beautifully. I couldn't ask for a better picture and am totally satisfied with the product.
Pros - Very bright, excellent picture in all lighting environments, apps are fast with no delays, great remote with solar charging
Cons - Had issues with Best Buy deliver scheduling that delayed original date by 2 weeks, had to reposition a few lights that put too much direct reflection on the screen, Q-Symphony feature keeps turning off on me or disappearing (I have compatible soundbar system from Samsung too).

John,
Thank you for choosing Samsung's QN90A TV and for your review. Please know that your TV is engineered with Anti-Reflection Technology designed to minimize ambient light reflections. We understand that light conditions of each room environment are different. For optimal glare control, we recommend repositioning the TV to minimize incident light falling on the screen or consulting a professional installer.
When using the Q-Symphony feature, please keep in mind this is only available when you connect the soundbar to the TV using an HDMI cable or an optical cable. You will also need to change the source on your soundbar to D.IN. To do this, press Source on the soundbar’s remote until “D.IN” appears.
Once the soundbar has been connected and D.IN is set, “TV+Soundbar” will appear under the Sound Output menu of the TV. Select the corresponding option. Now Q-Symphony will activate, and you’ll hear amazing surround sound.
Additionally, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1901.0 which includes input device performance, as well as other various updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
I hope this helps! Should you ever have questions or need help, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

Haven’t tried all the features out but am digging the batteryless remote but will see how that goes in the future. All the connected apps is nice and the picture for the most part is pretty slick. Only downside and I’ve seen this on just about all new TVs is dark scenes get washed out or hard to see unless you turn the grays up pretty high and even that it’s not great. Haven’t found a tv that is new that does it well. My 10yr old Panasonic plasma does really dark scenes miles ahead of new stuff. No idea why. Even the LG and Sony Bravia or those LED screens that deal with blacks really well do great at making a scene really dark but it doesn’t help in showing that we’ll just really dark. All in all no complaints. Hopefully it will last me the 10yrs my plasma has and it still runs great also.

Up front, I'm very happy with the picture. To my eye, it's very evenly lit and the contrast is great. I've not seen any noticeable blooming around bright areas like subtitles. It was packaged and delivered well. The remote is nice, if a little under-featured.
That said, I have two major issues causing me buyer's remorse.
1) This TV seems to have a real problem sending 'return' audio to an external receiver over HDMI/ARC. For example, the sound drops any time I switch to a different 'app' within the UI. The only way to get it back is to switch my amp to an unused input and then switch back. It's a constant headache. Other people have reported similar ARC and eARC problems in AV forums.
I'd just use the optical out, and avoid ARC altogether, but several of their built-in apps only send 2 channel sound via optical out.
My best hope is to stop using the internal apps all together and only drive the TV from sources switched entirely by the amp.
2) The reflection coating on this TV is strange. It deadens a reflected point light, but then creates an edge-to-edge rainbow that smears across the entire display. To my brain, it's much worse than the original reflection. I'd rather no anti-reflection coating to whatever oily smear they've applied here.

PerverseOsmosis:
Thank you for choosing the QN90A Neo QLED TV and taking the time to share your experience with connecting your receiver via HDMI/ARC. Some receivers will require you to turn on CEC on manually. Since control is done over CEC, some devices connected to the receiver and/or the receiver may transmit invalid data on the CEC line causing such issues. You may need to test your TV & receiver to isolate the culprit device.
For assistance with this issue and step-by-step troubleshooting, please contact Samsung Customer Support. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913.

The new Neo QLED 4k UHD TV has black levels that rival OLED TVs now and works better our bright room. Our viewing room has typical windows but also skylights that can make daytime TV viewing a challenge. The TV's brightness, anti-glare and Ultra Viewing Angle features makes daytime watching as good as nighttime viewing in a dimly lit room. The TV has a vivid picture when streaming HDR programs and the picture only improves when set to picture settings recommended by sources such as CNET or CR for both typical HD cable and UHD streamng sources. Bottom line, it's hard to imagine a TV with a bettter picture.

I have nothing negative to say about this tv. I originally bought the 75 inch Vizio P quantum x or whatever it’s called. Decent picture but there were too many glitches and issues with the television especially considering it was $2000. This TV was a completely different experience. Movies look great, video games look and feel like new games I can’t even explain it. The apps and smart tv system as a whole is solid as well. I don’t know about the speaker in the television since I’m using externals. Oh and the remote is also a nice touch. Great work Samsung.
