    Known Won't Power On Issue

    Like other reviewers, ours died and wouldn't power on after the return window. Samsung Chat Support was quick to diagnose the problem and quickly sent a repair agent to remedy the issue. I submitted a Samsung warranty request on a Friday, and on Monday, an authorized repair agent came to our home. He opened the One Connect Box and replaced the circuit board. Apparently, Samsung has a known issue with a fuse in the circuit boards, and authorized repair agents are replacing them with a new circuit board with a different fuse. The picture quality is amazing. The anti-reflective screen is unparalleled. The Dolby Atmos sound with the TV speakers is top-notch. The only downside is that the Amazon Alexa voice assistant is overly sensitive and sometimes launches without saying Alexa. Otherwise, I would give this TV a five star review.

    Spectacular video. I was shocked how bright and crisp the images are. This replaced our older Sony 75" in the living room which has tons of windows and natural light. My primary reason for selecting this TV was the glare free technology. It did not disappoint. I actually tried to produce reflections using lamps, etc. It's truly glare free. Only down side was the user manual has very little info for using a multitude of features. I guess I can get that off of Youtube but it's a hassle as YT has so many fake, phishing videos.

    Best TV I've ever purchased. I don't see myself purchasing anything other than an OLED TV ever again. The reduced glare on this is INSANE

    Samsung TV total failure on 77" OLED model

    We recently purchased a 77" OLED Samsung TV (SEP-2024) for the holidays. We had the unit delivered and set-up for us. We enjoyed the holidays watching the awesome picture and sound system. Less than five months later, the TV failed, completely. After researching the model and similar issues, we were disappointed to discover our TV would need a warranty claim, schedule a technician home visit, order any required parts, reschedule technician to install parts, hopefully restoring our viewing pleasure. Samsung warranty service/repair is not helpful in this process. Warranty work takes a significant amount of time and patience to endure. We will not make this mistake again. We are already looking for a new TV, definitely staying away from Samsung brands at all cost. This time, whatever brand we purchase, we will buy the immediate replacement coverage from Best Buy/Geek Squad. We researched Samsung TVs prior to our purchase, however, it appears Samsung quality and care have plummeted to unacceptable levels. This unit was manufactured in Mexico.

    Dead in less than a week... like the other reviews

    Thankfully mine dies in the first week, so it was easy to return. At some point in the night while I was sleeping, that TV had a major electrical failure and tripped the break. I thought it was a fluke until I read the reviews. This TV is not just bad, it's dangerous. What is happening inside these things? On the bright side, Samsung hit a home run with their anti-glare matte finish. My room is so bad, that the Geek squad guy said I need an outdoor TV. But the Samsung looked pretty good! I did however have some issues with the video dropping out on a movie. Other reviewers says that one-connect causes that, Today I had an 85" Sony Bravia 9 installed. I was hoping that the brightness would overcome the glare, but it doesn't. I guess I'll need to close the shades to watch TV. It's really a shame that a company as mature and big as Samsung seems to have totally botched that electronics on the one. The image quality and anti-glare screen are truly remarkable.

    Blacks are GOOD!

    Best TV I ever owned. I went to the store to see it because on reviews saying the blacks are greyed out more than non-matte screens. The blacks look plenty good to me and not that far off from non-matte TV's I was looking at. I hated my current TV that has mirror glass on it. Seeing myself, my bookshelf, table and myself in my TV while watching it sucked BIGTIME. This TV makes watching a pleasure again because I see none of that now. 1000% happy with this beautiful picture not seeing everything in the room reflected in it. If you're worried about the blacks as I was from reviews then go to the store and see it for yourself. And then look at the light fixtures, and shelving and other TV's reflecting off the non-matte screens and I think you'll SEE it sucks compared to what TINY difference in the blacks are. Blacks look fantastic on my 65" S95d!

    Love this TV. Big, bright, sharp. After wiring the tv directly to the internet, everything works perfectly. Have to wire directly to the cable box and to the wall, tried to use a splitter, tv lagged a bit. But straight connection is top notch.

    Trully amazing tv in every mode. Super nice and bright. Tizen menu is snappier than ever And no bandwith issue with the one connect box in gaming. You can buy this with your eyes closed. :)

    Do not Buy 77" S95D- TV Dead after Six months

    This was incredible TV for six months. It worked perfectly for six months the turned off the TV on Wednesday night and went to watch TV on Thursday and would not power on. Did troubleshooting with Samsung and will not power on and no red standby light. I agree with everyone the "One Connect Box" is at fault. Stupid design choice. Samsung does not have repair technician available in my area so waiting on them to call me today for my refund.

    Won’t power on after 1 month of use

    Barely had it for a month and now it won’t power on anymore. Hearing it’s a particular problem with the Samsung 77” OLED TV (model S95D). Have no doubt Best Buy will step up & replace it. But then what? Guess i’ll have to keep my fingers crossed it lasts a while longer this go around. My doubt arises from reading reviews in which others are going on their THIRD tv (previous ones being replaced due to the same power issue). Not happy…

    This review will be updated once I receive the replacement TV. Unboxed TV, put it together, turned it on, went through TV setup, then the TV died in 10 minutes. The ever so popular blinking red power lights. Called Samsung and they confirmed TV is dead. This 1 star review is only for the TV..Best Buy is awesome.
