Spectacular bright and colorful TV
The S95D is the best TV I've ever owned. I just finished reading a review about it at AVS forums where the vibe was "real TV aficionados" only watch in a light controlled environment and don't need the anti glare filter. Please. Those of us who are married and have kids live our lives outside the basement. I watch football, movies etc. in my sunroom. Full windows to the south and east and an open door with more light coming from the west. My LG GX 77' OLED was essentially unwatchable during the day. The reflections were so bad my 16 year old daughter even refused to use the TV. The upscaling was also meh so I determined it was time for a new TV. After doing a bunch of research I settled on the Sony A95L. I love Sony's upscaling and ecosystem (the X90L is a superb bedroom TV) and the picture is very well balanced. The plan was to follow another user's lead and boost the A95 to vivid mode during the day and return to filmaker mode at night. I ordered the Sony from BB and then did a bit more research. The idea of having to change the settings each time I watch at night / afternoon wasn't appealing. I learned more about the S95D but was hesitant. I'm more of a Sony / LG guy and don't have much love for Samsung. But as I did more research the S95D's potential began to change my mind. I was and am intrigued by the potential for QD-OLED. The colors on the S95D are stunning. Rich, vibrant and stunning without being cartoony. The comparison in color saturation / brightness between the S95 and the GX is simply night and day. And then there is the anti glare screen. Is it flawless? No. Fomo showed on one of his YouTube videos that direct full afternoon sun can turn part of the screen white and unwatchable. In a perfect (or unperfect) storm I'm sure that's true. I saw that happen to a small corner of the screen when afternoon sun hit the TV from the west. That happened once for 10 minutes. The rest of the time the filter is just amazing. What was simply unwatchable is now superb. Yes if a ton of light is in the room the blacks get crushed a bit but that effect is minimal and so, so much better than a badly reflected screen. For people like me who watch a bunch of TV in daytime it's a true game changer. I'm not a PC gamer and am confident my PS5 / XBox S would work well. The only other unknown was the processing / upscaling. The previous generation (s95c) got poor to middling reviews in this area and I was concerned but decided to take a chance (props to BB which allows you to switch out TV's within 60 days if you have a Plus Membeship). I cancelled the A95L and ordered the S95D. It arrived 4 days ago and I'm a truly satisfied customer. The processing is very good. Maybe not Sony great but much, much better than the GX. All in all I'm thrilled. The picture is brilliant. I can watch football and other sports during the day and have an amazing, accurate OLED at night. Highly recommended. The attached pics contrast the room with the GX and the S95D. Hopefully you can see the difference.

Spectacular tv
I’ve wanted a truly high end tv all my life. This is the first time I’ve been able to afford one and it is really spectacular. Rich blacks, incredible colors and that anti-glare works very well too. It’s easy to use and the menus are fast and responsive too. Load times for apps are a breeze. My only issue is that I think the remote is sort of lacking. The mute gets turns on all the time as it’s integrated into the volume button, it’s not bad, but it’s my least favorite part of the tv. Sound is solid for a tv. Sure a surround sound system is better and likely what you’ll use, but when I don’t want that extra noise and want to keep things basic, it works fine. It’s clear and sounds good.

Glare Free & Excellent Picture Quality
This TV has been everything and more that the sales associate claimed it to be. When watching a show with the lights off all my other TV's went "black" between commercials, they still had light that would aluminate the room, NOW, the room is PITCH BLACK. Watching anything with the lights on or curtains open you cannot see any overhead lights or natural lighting from windows in the screen, ABSOLUTELY NO GLARE! Let's talk about picture - the colors are so vibrant, quality is so finite that you can see the pores on peoples faces, it's like you are in the show, literally! Sound quality from across the room is great as well. This TV is worth the little extra 100%

Amazing picture quality
I had researched this tv for almost a year before going to Best Buy to see it. I was looking to get the 65 inch version to replace a 55 inch in my living room. The wall that it would be mounted on gets light from the adjacent kitchen as well as patio doors. The anti glare feature of the S95D is perfect for this room. I was not disappointed, the anti glare, the deep blacks and bright whites are incredible. The last 3 weeks I have rewatched movies only to notice little details I missed on my old tv. I ended up getting the 77 inch and glad I did. This tv is perfect and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Anti-glare is awesome!
I was debating between a Sony, an LG, and a Samsung. Bad buyer reviews regarding software glitches scared me away from the Sony, and I already had another LG tv. The anti-glare screen on this Samsung tv was what finally sold me, as the living area where my tv is placed has 12 large windows and is very bright and sunny. What an incredible difference the anti-glare screen makes. I paid the Geek Squad for professional installation and set up of the tv and a pair of KEF speakers, which are mounted on the wall on either side of the tv. The Geek Squad did a nice job with the initial installation, but had to come back to troubleshoot a sound issue with a connected Blue Ray player, and to cover some wires because the ones I bought didn’t fit. These were very simple fixes and the end result is I have a very beautiful looking and sounding tv that is now out of the reach of my grandchildren’s finger prints.
