I purchased this SSD drive based on the good reviews on the web site. I utilized the cloning software that came with the Samsung product and utilized it to replace my aging C drive. First time boot was flawless. Only negative was the case I purchased on the BB web site. Although the SSD fit in the case fine, the case did not align properly in the disk cage. Performance is spectacular. Fast boot time and plenty of space for my needs.

I've had a small 256GB Samsung SSD that I've been wanting to upgrade from to get at least 1TB and got a great deal during black friday that dropped it close to about $105. Amazing speeds and no issues as of now and plan on using this for several years down the road. Be sure to install the Samsung Magician software and enable RAPID mode to get the highest performance possible with this drive.

Great SSD with really good specs. Always been a fan of the EVO series SSD's, this was my third 860 I've purchased, and I couldn't be happier. Also super lightweight, which is a major plus if you're into lightweight laptop builds. The cost is a tad steep when compared to other SSD's of this storage size (1TB), however, I trust the reliability of Samsung over a no-name brand variant.

I had an aging Hard Drive and knew it was time to replace it. Talked with my IT son who recommended this brand and size without hesitation. He has two in his own computer. It was easy to install and worked right away. Besure to make a copy of your operating system before undertaking this replacement project. Everything is faster and games load more quickly now. I recommend this SSD without reservations.

Great hard drive. This is the 2nd Samsung SSD drive that I've got installed on my computer. First one I've had is now roughly 6ish years old now and have not had a single issue with it. One thing to note tho is that you will need to partition it when you install it onto the computer. And it doesn't come with a sata cable so if you don't have a spare one you'll need to buy that separately.

An inexpensive way to upgrade my computer! My computer, like most computers, was starting to slow down overtime. However using this SSD it was like buying a brand new computer. Opening programs is a dream now and since I bought the one terabyte version, I have extra space in my drive which allows me to efficiently save more. The price was right on level also.

I purchased this SSD to upgrade my 2015 MBP. The original hard drive was super slow and lagging. All applications takes 5-10 minuets to open and ready to operate. Ever since I upgraded to this SSD. The speed and performance of my 2015 MBP improved substantially, it takes second to start any application including the innate Apple Photos and Safari. Couple of months into the SSD, I am super happy with it.

I have cloned and upgraded numerous HDD's to SSD's. They are pretty foolproof and Samsung provided a link to a piece of cloning software. It worked flawessly and upon booting the Samsung EVO it was fast as I expected. This is my first experience with internal Samsung EVO's and I see no reason to switch back to other brand. Best Buy recommended this product over brand X and I am happy with the end results.

This is my go-to SSD for replacing slow hard drives in MacBooks and Mac Minis. Almost bought a new laptop but decided to give this a try first. Made the MacBook Pro faster than when it was brand new. Saved me a ton of money. I’ve now put this in five Macs and they are all doing well. Very easy to install and transfer data with the right tools.

Replaced a dying 1TB HDD - installing Windows 10 from a USB to this took probably 10 minutes. I thought the computer was already pretty fast with a newer quad-core i7 and 12GB RAM but this made a very noticeable difference in everything from boot times to large file copies. It was a great value on sale for a 1TB drive so I'm not losing any space by going to a SSD. It's great!

Really fast speed, super easy installation, and amazing price.

My laptop was using a 7200 rpm Sata drive. It was ok but this SSD has made it even better. I had already been running an mSata drive in the m2 slot and added this to my Sata slot. Tons of space and the speeds are constant. Boot up time to windows is less than 6 seconds. Of course this is a gaming laptop that is 3 years old with a Haswell i7-4720hq processor, 16gb ddr3 and Nvidia 950m graphics card.

Upgrading from the 1TB platter drive that my G3 came with. I went with this drive because of the Samsung drive cloning software that comes with it. Everything went so smoothly I could hardly believe it! Two months later with no problem whatsoever. Great work Samsung making this kind of upgrade so easy and seamless!

One of the better SSDs of this class. You'll obviously get slightly faster speeds with something like a M.2, and a new class of drives are set to be released soon, but none of that makes this any slower. It works perfectly well as a storage space for games, which is exactly what I'm using it for. Note that is does NOT come with any cables.
