Hello, I purchased this Samsung Solid State drive to replace an old drive in my laptop. And the software that it comes with was awesome. I hooked it up to a drive duplicator and ran the software to replicate my old drive. It was also very easy to install in my laptop. It increased the drive access speed of my laptop to almost three times as fast as it used to take to access the information on my old drive. I am very pleased with the performance of this drive and there is no lag when accessing your programs and data stored on the SSD. Since the SSD came out there is only one make that I trust with my data and that is Samsung period. So if you are looking for a very dependable drive to speed up the performance of their old computer I suggest a Samsung SSD fo their project.

I needed a lot of space on my laptop for work. Laptops with already-installed 1 terabyte solid state drives were upwards of $2,000. I went with a cheaper computer with a smaller solid state drive and swapped them out with Geek Squad. It was perfect, and Oleg with Geek Squad is the best!

Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB SSD provides solid performance and great way to extend a laptop's storage capacity. Easy to install and format by the average user. I've purchased one for my digital photographs and another for misc. documents.

Replaced my mechanical hard drives on 2 machines. On the Windows 7 desktop, it reduced boot time from annoying to under a minute. On the Windows 10 laptop, WOW! Everything runs Fast: Boot, programs, downloads. It removes the ‘bottle-neck’ when running Windows 10.

Super fast honestly. Although I’m coming from a hard drive. what can you expect from and Samsung Evo. Speed that’s what! Boot time is literally non existent. All my apps load extremely fast and I love just knowing I have this in my computer for fast file movement.

Now that SSD are cheaper, I decided to pick this up to upgrade from my HDD. it is a very big difference in speed. PC boots up in mere seconds! No more need to kill time once I press that power button, its ready to go.

My 1 tb hard drive started to go. I was looking for an ssd and came across this one. Easy as pie to put in and the software for clone my existing drive to this worked great. All the programs came across fine even windows. Again, simple well worth the money and its fast.

Great SSD, Samsung Drive never failed me. I have been using multiple different SSD over years and this one remains the most reliable one. I stored all of my important data on this one and installed games or other stuffs on the other ones.

Not only was it easy to install but Samsung Data Migration software made it a breeze to clone everything from my HDD. Definitely notice a difference in boot up speed and more. I'm sure I will be getting a second one of these or upgrading to a 2 TB at some point in the future.

I love this Solid State hard drive.. the speed is excellent ..... no more frustration waiting for things to load.... At 1 terrabyte, it is more memory than I will ever need or use... but I love it.

I remember when a 1tb SSD used to cost over a thousand dollars...now I have this one which cost only $160! It's lightning-fast SATA 3, which the PS4 Pro takes advantage of (the original PS4 didn't). If you're going from the very slow stock HD that came with your system, this will be like the first time you got an SSD in your PC! However, I got this to replace the hybrid Firecuda SSHD I had in my console after Sony allowed us to move our games onto USB drives. This drive is actually not that much faster than the SSHD. It really only shaves off a few seconds here & there. If you need more than 1tb, you should probably go with a 2tb SSHD which is about half the price. But if you can get by with just 1tb, then absolutely get this!

Needed more storage for my games. I figured 1Tb would be good. So far it has worked very well. Great speed. I've already filled it to the brim. Might need another. Got it on sale which is great. Nice addition if you need fast storage.

Needed some additional storage for my gaming PC to free up my primary drive. This is a simple easy to install solution. Great tools from Samsung too. Note: This does not come with cables. Either make sure you have spares or buy one. Personally I think Samsung should provide one.

Product was very easy to install and configure and up to now has peformed as expected. I've had samsuns SSDs before and my last one is 5 years old and still going. I would recommend this line to anybody thinking of using SSD Drives.

After about a month of owning this SSD and it being in my home computer I couldn't be happier. It's working great, is super fast, and I have had no reliability problems (I don't really expect to have any either as my other Samsung ssds have never failed). All around great product!

Got this drive to replace a failed seagate drive that was in one of my macbook pros. It was a pretty quick and easy install with zero issues providing me with a very noticable increase in speed. Loving it so far and recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their hard drive.

Amazing SSD. Loads everything right up. Big upgrade if you are coming from a hard disk drive. If you were thinking about upgrading now is the best time especially with all the holiday sales and the prices of the SSD coming to a low from what they used to be.

After reading the reviews and the information I decided to not only buy 1 but 2 of these 1tb solid state drives which fit perfectly in the aurora 7 desktop from dell. 2 tb of extra space for that killer game that just needs a county size back yard. Best purchase of the year!!

Excellent and reliable product. With this SSD and the Samsung Magician application, my 2015 desktop PC is performing better tan ever. The product is also easy to install and Samsung provides great support.

I've been using Samsung SSDs for years. They are true quality and the Data Migration Software is flawless. Plug the drive is a USB adapter, run the software, put the SSD in your system and it looks the same as you had it but MUCH faster!
