When SSD came out they were too expensive and I stayed away for many years (my loss). As prices have steadily dropped, I stayed on the sidelines. I read all about the performance and reliability benefits but just couldn't justify the price and space limitations. Finally, I took the plunge for this SSD. 1 TB for about $100 seemed like a good value at this time. It worked as expected, fast and responsive. It was easy to install and setup and looks understated. The small 2.5" size is easy to install in the newer cases without needing to use a bulky drive bay. Now I am also looking at M.2-NVME SSDs for future builds.

So it had only been one day, so I could exchange it for another one in store. The employees were NOT mean, they just simply asked why I was exchanging and happily exchanged for a new SSD.

Load times for sure but even in frame rate I wanna say. Old school games like Doom 3 and FF8 look smoother. Overall satisfied that I swapped out the one in my regular ps4 as well. Definitely recommend

Stupid fast installations, file transfers, you name it. I put this in my gaming pc and now my friends don’t rip on me for how long it takes me to load a game or reload games like PUBG when it crashes

It's survived several laptops, in fact. The only thing I don't like is that it has a priority (different than others) cord. If I misplace the cord, I'll be unable to use the drive.

This makes it very easy to load all off your games to this drive for fast play back. Plus it looks amazing with the all black finish in my case. Looking forward in the near future for picking up another one of these to add to my gaming rig.

We upgraded the SSD from what the unit came with. There is no heat generated by this drive. We have had no problems with this. The storage capacity is great as we store our data on the cloud.

Happy with the overall speed bump in loading times. Examples include loading up NBA 2K20 in about 30 seconds faster from home screen and loading Ghosts of Tsushima about 10 seconds faster (already a fast loading game)!

After much research and recommendations I went with the EVO. Extremely easy to install! ALOT smaller than my old HD. Will end up getting another one to install and get rid of my external back up HD

Big difference power up and shut down time => FAST. I have not explored other thigns available yet. I am positive and working comfortably with this drive. Although it did call for, I also upgraded the memory for my laptop.

When I click on a program - it is there immediately - no more Please Wait - Loading, etc. Browsers open a lot quicker too. I have been wanting one of these forever - the price finally got right and I did it. Wish I had purchased this long ago.
