Affordable and reliable. I struggled a bit downloading the right imaging software. I think Samsung should do a better job. Word of advice, do not use the most current imaging software.

Great SSD and out performs my other SSD. Never had an issue with my files or data storage. The read/write speed could be faster though.

still working no issues. do not buy the new version that are cheaper because they will last less than this version. Samsung is trying to scam people into thinking the newer one is better but is not. do your research if you do not believe me this one is really goods with 5 years of warranty

This is my 3rd EVO drive I've put in my workstation. They work great and have the best longevity of SSD's I've come across to date. I check performance every 3-6 months with a quick benchmark in HDTune Pro just to make sure I'm not getting close to critical with file read or write failures.

I purchased to replace the slow HDD on my PS4 Pro. So far the experience is great. Games load quickly and updates installed fast. Recommend for PS4 Pro. If installing in PS4, watch YouTube on how to install.

Will need the down load program, Samsung Data Migration. When partitioning the SSD drive make sure the (D) drive is much smaller, around 39 GB. This will be the recovery drive.

I replaced my PS4 Pro’s hard drive with this. Now, mind you, the PlayStation can’t make full use of this SSD’s speed — but with price was right for the capacity, and in the future I can repurpose it and use at as extra storage in my PC.

The associate was very helpful, knowledgeable! For some reason, the system was not accepting a Birthday offer but manager worked on it! Overall, the service was faster, got a good deal too! Sorry does not remember associate and manager name!

I’m very happy with this Samsung solid state hard drive. I’ll be replacing my other standard hard drives with this or other Samsung solid state drives. There are no mechanical parts to wear out. It’s worth having peace of mind for something as critical as a hard drive.

Still works great! Put in playstation 4 pro. My ps4 pro now loads games about 30 faster. On a 15 second load game you won't notice it but when you load GTA 5 for example your cutting it from about 2.5 minutes down to about 1.25 minutes.

Took my computer for hard disk crash. Geek squad renewed the HD but recommend digital HD to prevent the recurrent failure of the mechanical HD. BB had great sale so I bought the 1T digital HD. Associates were knowledgeable and courteous!

I bought this to replace the internal HDD in my PS4 Slim. It worked right off the bat and has improved my load times significantly. I've also noticed better texture loading, etc. Really great deal if you can get it on sale like I did!

This was a gift for my husband! He’s a P.C. gamer and uses his computer for everyday use! G-Sync was a must for him! This monitor is excellent for gaming Snd everyday use plus we got it at a great deal which was a huge plus! You will not be disappointed!

I purchased this drive, because the previous failed. I was replacing a Western Digital drive, and this Samsung Evo 1TB SSD fit the bill nicely.

This is it, stop playing installation merry go round with your 256 main ssd that has windows installed on it and warzone because that alone fills it up. Get this and free yourself from only being able to install 1-3 games at a time.

My laptop got a new lease on life after installing this SSD. It boots wicked fast and I'm now able to run adobe programs simultaneously (upgraded ram too). Super easy to install to, although to use the samsung migration program i had to buy a SATA to usb cable.

The drive worked great but after 1 year of usage the hard drive began to fail. Windows 10 would randomly loose connection with the drive. This occurred whether the drive was being used as an external or internal drive. Updating the firmware did not solve the issue. Currently waiting a response from Samsung's warranty department. I still gave 4 stars because the drive itself performed very well. I've used plenty of SSD drives from Samsung and I never had an issue like this, I probably got a defective drive.
