Added another Samsung 860 EVO 1TB drive to my system, which means I’ve got a pair of them running as data drives (Samsung 970 Pro 512GB drive is the boot drive). Note that only ONE Samsung SSD can use the rapid mode (which will give one drive super crazy fast benchmarks) in Samsung Magician. Even so, both drives are extremely fast. Backing them up to an external traditional hard drive is also very fast. Easy to install, excellent warranty - what’s not to like? The only caveat is SSD prices are falling (I bought mine in July and it’s already $50 cheaper) so if you CAN wait, you’ll likely save a few bucks.

My 5 may not be as well-received as others since I'm not a big computer guy. But this came in handy because I bought a used PC from a friend, but it only had 50gb of onboard memory. I'm not a big computer gamer but a couple of games would eat that up. So I decided to use this to increase my storage capacity. I was worried because I had never done computer work before, but I can say with the instructions and video help I installed it no problem. I had to learn about formatting it but it was easy and pretty cool to learn something new. The drive loads fast and I have not had any issues with data corruption.

Soon SSD's will be the only storage drives and why not? The lack of moving parts and read/write speed make them superior and now they are affordable. 1 TB of memory on this product for the money was a great deal.

I am very pleased with this drive. It replaced an old spinning drive, and while it is not the fastest SSD out there, it is a huge improvement over a spinning drive and presents a great value, especially when on sale.

Bought to upgrade the space in my laptop which only had a smal SSD. Was easy to install, EXCEPT for the fact that it does NOT include the screws you need to install the drive, which i had to purchase elsewhere.

We purchase this to speed up a laptop disk operation. The installation is easy and intuitive. Simply format the hard and clone the old hard drive. It was fully operational in one hour! Now we have a much faster laptop!

Geek Squad replaces the old disc drive with a solid state drive in my HP laptop. I wanted improved performance and faster boot-up. I was able to go right back to work successfully. Mission accomplished!

You can never go wrong with an ssd from Samsung. Speeds are as advertised, and are consistent. Ive had mine for a while and I love the extra fast storage. Best way to bring life to an older 5400rpm hdd laptop.

This Samsung 1TB SSD replaced my old spinner drive and boots and retrieves data much faster. I now let my computer go to sleep when I'm not using it when before I never shut down due to long boot times.

I was pretty unsure if I wanted to buy this since the PS5 comes out in late 2020, but honestly it was a great purchase. It makes load times go by MUCH faster, I can actually enjoy my game without sitting in a loadscreen for a thousand years anymore, and it also wasn't hard to install! (That's coming from someone with ZERO tech knowledge, other than knowing how to use/play it). My only thing is to MAKE SURE you back everything up and remember your email and password for any/all PSN accounts..I had forgotten to back up one of my accounts and now I have to start over on a game that I put in a little over 200+ hours on. It's as if you're buying a brandnew console, it's great!
