    I purchased this to extend the life of my MacBook due to memory issues. The MacBook is an 2009 model. It doesn’t always hold up but it is doing a good enough job.

    Probably the way to go if you want a sata based ssd for computers that don’t have nvme. Marking it down a point for being a bit more expensive than the competition but besides that.

    Replaced an old hard drive - made the computer like new! Software that comes with makes cloning the drive a breeze but remember to decrypt your old drive before trying to clone the new one!

    So far it has been working for 2 weeks without a problem. Were they expecting a problem? I would not have had to have purchased it if Best Buy had fixed a crashed drive that had shut down when I gave it to them
