Customer Ratings & Reviews

I have been in the IT Arena since 1967. I have seen a lot of changes and one of the Best Changes (available at BestBuy) is the Samsung EVO SSD Series. I have replaced SATA HDDs in Servers, ThinkPads, WorkStations in multiple states and of course in my own Servers , Computers and ThinkPads. Simply put, they are Excellent! It speeds up Computers to the point that they seem like new Computers. If you bump your ThinkPad or LapTop you won't lose Data or Ruin your Hard Drive. Try one and you will see the advantages immediately. BestBuy offers great "Data Duplication Devices" to make the UpGrade/Replacement a simple process, Try them and you will be glad that you did. The BestBuy Prices are excellent too.

Fast and large SSD laptop hard drive that significantly improves performance over older drives and should be safer against hard drive failure without the me mechanical parts.

Installed SSD into PC and used the Samsung Data Migration software to easily clone my current HDD and Win10 installation to the new SSD. Everything worked perfectly and there are no issues to date.

I was looking for SSD upgrade for my laptop. This drive was perfect. Easy set-up using the Samsung migration utility. Reliability has been great.

You want a drive that’s more reliable than a Chevy? Or a Ford? Well this is Japanese material here folks. Buy it love it and use it and it comes with transfer software for ease of use

Using this SSD to replace a seagate HD in a Jukebox. Jukebox boots and loads much faster than the original hard drive did. SSD is being used for music files. Very happy with my purchase.

So far it’s great. MacBook boots up like when it was new and runs all apps without hesitation. Lots of space. Should’ve upgraded sooner. Chose the EVO based on reviews. Not disappointed

Replaced my SATA 7200 rpm C: Drive with the SSD. installed fairly easily. Had a couple of glitches but not with the drive. Works great-much faster when booting and loading programs.

Pretty fast, even compared to an NVME Drive. Easy install and hasn't skipped a beat since then. Good price for a high quality product. Looking to get another one.

I had a Mushkin Enhanced Reactor 2.5, which was really nice and fast. I had this drive for several years and it died without warning. I had another Mushkin Enhanced Reactor 2.5 died shortly after purchase. I decided to go with the Samsung. It as been working great. I wish I could had gotten the 2TB version. You want to get more life out of a older computer/laptop that seems to running slow then get this drive and breath another couple of years into your current system. then when you upgrade to a new computer take this drive with you to the new laptop/desktop. If you have the know-how then it is simple otherwise get Geek Squad to help you out.

Great so far! Easy install, used my system recovery USB to format it, and I'm back up and running. Task Manager shows way less disk usage, and everything is much faster.

I can’t believe the difference this made in our computer and it has enlightened space for all our important files too. It’s like a turbo for your computer and can breathe new life into your computer.

If your laptop is slow install one of these and change it's life... I recommend saving your files and do a system restore. Your laptop will basically be a new computer...

I bought this as a replacement for a 1TB HDD in my ASUS ROG laptop. The HDD went bad on it after about 3 years and replaced it with this Samsung SDD. I couldn't be happier with this SDD!

Lots of capacity. High speed access. PC performance is thru the roof. Buy it on sale. Best Buy's retail price is way too high. Try newegg, gotapex, or Amazon. Never buy used.

I used Samsung SSD for some time now. From Samsung 830 to 860. Price of SSD come down a lot. If you still use HDD, please just get SSD. Boot time will be reduced a lot. You will glad you got it.

This drive is so fast. Replaced a much smaller drive with this one and it was a piece of cake transferring everything.

As usual the Samsung solid state drive installed easy and with the correct software it’s easy to move an entire drive operating system and all. Once done I had a screaming fast laptop.

I bought this drive for my 7 year old desktop PC. It improved my boot time from 6-10 minutes to less than 2 minutes. I can also load many programs faster than before.

This drive is super fast. I was doing a new PC build and wanted a fast drive as my boot drive. This fit the bill and for a great price. Highly recommend this drive.
