Lots of capacity. High speed access. PC performance is thru the roof. Buy it on sale. Best Buy's retail price is way too high. Try newegg, gotapex, or Amazon. Never buy used.

I have put a Samsung 860 evo SSD in my new gaming laptop as additional storage to download steam games to. I put one in my regular desktop pc from 2013 and transferred operating system and all files to it. I did the same thing with my regular work laptop from 2013. Any SSD is a night and day difference from HDD in terms of speed and load times. I constistently choose this particular one because of the reputation it carries, and my experience with it. I highly recommend this if you're in the market for an SSD. If you're on the fence, it is worth the money, and certainly worth the upgrade from a normal hard disk drive.

As usual the Samsung solid state drive installed easy and with the correct software it’s easy to move an entire drive operating system and all. Once done I had a screaming fast laptop.

I can’t believe the difference this made in our computer and it has enlightened space for all our important files too. It’s like a turbo for your computer and can breathe new life into your computer.

Purchased this drive to replace the boot drive on my PC. I've had it for a month with no issues. Install was simple and performance is excellent. Programs load fast.

Put this into a tablet style laptop that i recently uploaded from 8.1 to windws 10. This thing flys now .it almost instant on now. Definitely improved my laptop-tablet. Blew me away.

High speed, fast access & plenty of storage. Only drawback is Samsung's duplication software, 50/50 that it works. The 860 is a great buy and beats out the 870 any day.

Samsung makes great SSD, and they didn't fall short with this one. I've bought 3 of their SSD's and they have all ran great without issue and were easy installs.

I used Samsung SSD for some time now. From Samsung 830 to 860. Price of SSD come down a lot. If you still use HDD, please just get SSD. Boot time will be reduced a lot. You will glad you got it.

Exactly what I needed from a SSD. Very easy installation and setup. Hard drive is super fast and has eliminated nearly all load times in the games I play.

Fastest SSD short of going NVMe. Used to upgrade storage for laptop. Samsung Magician software that comers with is meh but was good for bench marking the speed improvement.

Solid SSD. Cheaper or the same price as competition like western digital except Samsung does it better. Goes on sale often too which is great.

Samsung SSD drives are the best quality drives one can buy. The 1TB drive I purchased is one of the best I've ever had. Installation was a easy, and performance has been stellar.

I got one for my desktop and it runs amazing now so ended up getting two more for my laptop and desktop all run so fast. if your thinking about getting this do it and its not hard to install too.

This drive is so fast. Replaced a much smaller drive with this one and it was a piece of cake transferring everything.

Easy to setup and install. First clone your hard drive to this ssd and install. My laptop now has a boot up time of less than 4 seconds. Well worth the price. The sale price of 129.99 was a bonus.

This isn't the fastest SSD out there as the technology keeps getting better, but it is still quite fast and can't be beat for the cost when it was on sale. Have had zero problems.
