I compare this to the old school SATA drive III to SSD drives first when I do a clean install and reinstall the operating system, apps, drivers, and updates. As a result, it's a huge difference for 7 seconds of shutdown time and 10 second seconds for the shutdown time and loading time and clicking the apps is a huge difference than the old school SATA which runs on spindles and when it's starting to go broke it clicks for spindles unlike the SSD it's quiet and fast I'm happy to have Samsung EVO 860 it's like a jet when it starts

You just can't go wrong with the Samsung line of SSDs. They're reliable, fast and the magician software keeps the drives updated and insures you know the status of the drives.

I upgraded the current SSD in my MacBook Pro with this drive. In day-to-day operations it feels about as fast as the PNY SSD it replaced. Moving Large files on drive is relatively quick, as is moving large folders with multiple files. All-in-all I am pretty satisfied, and would probably spend the extra money for this drive (when it is on sale). MBP Specs: 13", i7, 8 GB Ram, 1 TB SSD

We got this on sale to replace the corrupt hard drive in a PS4 Pro and it is an excellent value. Really easy to install and fits perfectly.

This product is functioning well. Loads and saves fast. Installation to bay was quick and easy. No errors during formatting and installation.

Easy to install. PC boots up in seconds. -Samsung no longer offers their software CD but you can download their software online. Need their software to clone your old drive.

I bought this and I had it installed for my daughter's laptop by geek squad.. fast speed, plenty of room for files and downloads and most of all it was on sale price.

I got this one for my desktop to increase the storage. It comes in with my samsung monitor that monitors its use, temperature, and performance!

Super fast drives. Seem to last long too. put the Samsung software in rapid mode and big performance increase.

I'm going to have to buy a second one of these, its so dang fast and it has made my productivity go through the roof, video editing in 4k no longer takes a century either.

Just bought this and installed myself into my MacBook Pro mid 2012. Installation was easy. Reinstalling the OS was a bit challenging for me, but I was finally able to find the link on Apple’s site to upgrade the original Maverick OS to Sierra. I’m hoping I’ll get the normal updates back to Catalina before I did the replacement. I was opening iMovie and other applications and went from 45 seconds to minute to now seconds! The upgrade so far has been well worth it and to have gotten this SSD on sale made it even a better purchase.

Works like a charm and the speed difference is astronomical. easy to use and the Cloning software makes it a snap to swap out old drives

my pc was starting to run slow so i had the geek squad install a new samsung ssd drive. runs like a new computer now. so much faster

Best warranty and speeds compared to almost all other ssd except the better Samsung drives. Little more expensive than competition but I think it's well worth it

i installed it and it is great,super fast,my laptop with old HDD was taking 4 mnts to boot but with this ssd it takes only 30 seconds,so amazing

Installed this SSD in my PS4 PRO. My console boots faster, games load faster, overall much smoother. I highly recommend this EVO 860 to anyone for their laptop or PS4 PRO.
