I Don't Want to Over Hype It

In day-to-day operations it feels about as fast as the PNY SSD it replaced. Moving Large files on drive is relatively quick, as is moving large folders with multiple files. All-in-all I am pretty satisfied, and would probably spend the extra money for this drive (when it is on sale). MBP Specs: 13", i7, 8 GB Ram, 1 TB SSD

Well worth doing to replace original HDD

Reinstalling the OS was a bit challenging for me, but I was finally able to find the link on Apple’s site to upgrade the original Maverick OS to Sierra. I’m hoping I’ll get the normal updates back to Catalina before I did the replacement. I was opening iMovie and other applications and went from 45 seconds to minute to now seconds! The upgrade so far has been well worth it and to have gotten this SSD on sale made it even a better purchase.
