Customer Ratings & Reviews

Only as good as the old Samsung 850 EVO, who’s is to say fantastic. Honestly SATA is maxed out by these drives, they seem to be very reliable. Great value.

Excellent speed simple installation. The product performed as stated.i would strongly recommend this product. The price was fair.

SSD works great! I was able to easily transfer my entire HD with room to spare. Install into mini tower was easy as well.

I'm not by any means an expert on SSD technology but this product is incredible fast and incredible reliable, just what I was looking for.

I bought this to replace this harddrive on my ps4 pro, and its best decision I have ever made. This ssd is really fast, it kinda eliminated load times on some games which is awesome. Texture streaming in games has been pretty quick as well, I used to see this problem in some games where the textures look like a muddy mess because it wasnt loading the textures fast enough, and now with this ssd that problem has pretty much been eliminated in most of my games. This thing is really awesome, I definitely recommend to pick one up

My computer is a few years old and I can't afford a new one, so I've got to hang on to this one as long as possible! Now there isn't much you can do to a laptop computer to improve it's performance, except to get more RAM memory, and/or improve the hard drive to a Solid state drive. So I bought the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB Internal SATA Solid State Drive. I can't wait to install it. NOTE: If you don't have any experience working on electronics then do not attempt to do this yourself or you can ruin your laptop computer.

I got this drive instead of buying an upgraded drive already in my laptop. It was super easy to install and replace my laptops hard drive and way faster.

Samsung ssd drives have been reliable and fast. Their migration software makes moving data or cloning your old drive painless.

I've been using this hard drive for almost a year now and it is GREAT! It is so fast. Highly reliable. And highly recommended!

Bought to upgrade my laptop drive for more space and to SSD. Laptop boots up very quickly and plenty or storage. Very easy to swap out the old drive.

1 TB SSD upgrade for my laptop has improved performance, speed and reliability of the machine. Great purchase! Had installed by Best Buy. Great decision.

Replaced slow hard drive in a very fast laptop with this SSD. Now it boots immediately (within 10 seconds or so) instead of 1 and a half minutes.

Very fast, very smooth, very true what the people is saying about this SSD. I was having problems with the speed of my 2016 HP Notebook. It was very slow, at the point that was useless. Can't even log into it or use the mouse. Bought a new RAM memory, and this 1TB SSD and the results were unbelievable. I bought it thanks to a technician advice that did a check up on my laptop. Saved a few hundred of dollars. Plus when it comes to copy all your work to this SSD...is a walk in the park with the Samsung Software. You will not go wrong with this SSD.

This was a little more than some of the other options, but so far a good buy. Very fast, easy to install. Made a huge loading time difference

I had an older hard drive on my pc and upgrade with this... my computer is way faster! Faster load times and overall better performance.

I remember long ago how it took hours to transfer data between hard drives. Took me less than 30 minutes to transfer over 250gigs of material to this ssd using the Samsung program. My 10 year old computer now boots up 10 seconds slower than my Alienware. I highly recommend this drive if you're looking to upgrade a older drive or to use for storage space. For faster transfer rates use a SATA cable and connect to your motherboard. You're going to have to open up your case anyway to remove the older Drive. Saves mucho time vs using the USB transfer method.

Great SSD for the $ I recommend going 1TB no less for gaming on PC. Easy to setup and use very fast! Recommend this to anyone!

Caught this SSD on sale and replaced hdd in an older laptop. Now it boots up so much faster and works a lot better for work.

By far one of the best SSD you can buy! Performs beyond expectations and a must have if you have a gaming rig. Don't settle for cheap!

Used this to replace (upgrade) my HDD. Used Sabrent Acronis device/software to clone the drive. Swap out was pretty simple, just plugging in the SATA cables. But if you're switching from a 3.5" HDD like I did, make sure your hard disk drive bay or mounting bracket has holes to screw on a 2.5" drive, or you might need a separate mounting bracket kit. The drive itself is great. The improvement in speed and load times compared to the HDD is obvious.
