The drive works great. I have had no problems with the use of the drive. It installed very easily and runs flawlessly.

Purchased this to replace an HDD in a mid-2012 model MacBook Pro and it worked like a charm. Setup was as simple as using a sata to usb cable to connect the hard drive and then initializing and installing a fresh copy of OS to the new drive. Hardest part of the install was not having the right size torx for the screws holding the old drive in. Once installed, apps open much more quickly and run much more smoothly. Should hopefully give me a few more years out of it before having to upgrade to a better system.

My laptop used to take 1 minute and 10 seconds to boot up. Now it boots in 20 seconds. It's also a great size for storage.

I have a couple of these drives. Great speed. Flawless operation. If you are looking for a good combination of price and capacity, this is it.

Funny story. I thought I needed this SSD to replace an SSD that I thought had died. Turns out it didnt. My system BIOS lost it's mind and was booting from a drive that had no OS. The old SSD was a Samsung 840 EVO. I bought this one thinking it would replace it and then some given that it is 1TB. Now I have both and the performance of this newer model is exceptional. I have used many brands of SSD drives and you might pay less. But NONE of the Samsung SSD's have failed yet (*knocks on wood*). You will never regret buying a Samsung EVO drive. Trust me.

This is my second purchase of this, as the first one worked so well. Easy to install. Old laptap is now just like a zippy new laptop!

Fast and easy to install. Download program to clone old drive. I've never had a problem with one of these drives.

The SSD is fast, really fast. Having a backup that is secure and will not fail if dropped is reassuring. I also like the light weight of this SSD.

I do not do reviews until I have had time to use the product. Sometimes I forget about doing a review until a receive a reminder. I use this SSD mostly to store pictures. I am a photographer currently own an 80D Canon Camera so my picture files are fairly large in size. I have had no problem with this SSD. The drive is faster than a regular hard drive in reading and writing. Due to its performance, I purchased another larger Samsung 860 EVO SSD for a new faster computer.

My laptop runs better than the day I bought it. Easy install. My only complain is that it didn't come with a cable to clone my existing hard drive.

I picked this up the other day to fix my daughters schooling computer. Original drive was so corrupt it would not clone properly but it did transfer the recovery media and was able to factory reset the machine. Huge performance difference from a standard hard drive with the corrupt os. I can’t compare proper operation of standard drive to the ssd but I feel it would still have been a significant improvement when you consider that windows ten likes to go to 100% disk usage at times and make you wait. I no longer get the 100% disk usage issue.

Having everthing on an ssd is truly lifechanging. It’s like going from the late 90’s to 2010. Easy to install and sleek.

This made my old laptop 3x faster when I upgraded from a HDD. Plenty of memory to do whatever.

Bought this with the hopes the claims they made were true. The FAR exceeded my expectations. Games run faster and the genie helps you save space.

I bought this SSD in Black Friday for 100 dlls approximately because all thise time I have been using a WD Black (7200 RPM) and I wanted to boot my Windows partitions with SSD and run few heavy performance video games and WOOOW the boot process takes around less than 10 seconds and also the turning Off process. I also bought it because the 500 GB 970 M.2 SSD was at the same price, so I preferred capacity than speed. If you don't have a socket in your motherboard for a M.2 SSD this will do the trick!

By changing my old hard drive to the 1 tb solid state drive made a huge difference in speed and noise free.
