PS4 Upgraded from slow 250GB to this 1TB

Easy to install and transfer data

It was easy to install, and used the Samsung software that I downloaded to clone my old drive before I installed it. If you're going to use this as your system drive, you will either need to create some sort of rescue or backup on a thumb drive or clone your current system drive. To clone a current drive you will need a separate cable, but I think the cables are only around $25 (?) and one end plugs into a USB port and the other end plugs directly into this drive.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using it as the clone destination drive for backups of my main OS (C:) drive (also a Samsung EVO 850 1tb drive). I have two of these 860's and alternate them weekly for clone backup. Super fast, clones 1TB drive in about 15 minutes vs 5 hours to clone the same OS drive to a 1tb hard drive. I've had to restore my system several time from these drives due to forced Windows 10 updates that screwed up my system. Now anytime I see windows prompting me to perform an update, I immediately clone the OS before allowing the update to proceed.
