Super Fast!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this SSD in Black Friday for 100 dlls approximately because all thise time I have been using a WD Black (7200 RPM) and I wanted to boot my Windows partitions with SSD and run few heavy performance video games and WOOOW the boot process takes around less than 10 seconds and also the turning Off process. I also bought it because the 500 GB 970 M.2 SSD was at the same price, so I preferred capacity than speed. If you don't have a socket in your motherboard for a M.2 SSD this will do the trick!

PS4 Upgraded from slow 250GB to this 1TB

Easy to install and transfer data

It was easy to install, and used the Samsung software that I downloaded to clone my old drive before I installed it. If you're going to use this as your system drive, you will either need to create some sort of rescue or backup on a thumb drive or clone your current system drive. To clone a current drive you will need a separate cable, but I think the cables are only around $25 (?) and one end plugs into a USB port and the other end plugs directly into this drive.
