Superb drive. Set it up in RAID 0 and used it as my boot drive. It now makes my computer boot so fast that it gets to Windows before I push the power button, which means that...Oh my God, what have I done? My computer is now beginning to decide when it powers on. Forgive me father for the horrors I've just unleashed. Or maybe it is just a BIOS issue. I just can't be sure anymore...

This SSD made booting up Windows a lot faster.

So I returned that one and got this brand with no issues so far. Going from a HD to an SSD is always a huge difference in speed. Not just with this SSD but with any SSD before you put it in your system you need to format it first! You have to format the SSD first before you can make this your boot drive for Windows. That was a huge mistake that I learned the hard way.

Saved my laptop

I hate to say old because in mind it was still a great laptop but unbearably slow! The speed of my laptop went from an old riding mower to a new Lamborghini. I wish I was exaggerating this SSD saved my laptop. The boot up time takes about 4 seconds compared to 4 minutes from before. My applications starts up so quick it feels as if I had them minimized the entire time. This is insane this SSD saved me from paying $800 plus dollars for a new laptop.

I have been amazed by the speed of these drives !! Both of my Computers have NVME drives and that I believe is faster ... but I an happy with the two Samsung drives. I backed up 200 or so full length movies to the one in my laptop ... incredibly fast !!
