Customer Ratings & Reviews

Buy it , great value and speed. If you're just gaming and need more storage this is what you want .

not much more to say. easy install, works great. Very happy to have added it to my acer predator helios 300.

The terabyte SSD is a welcome upgrade for a reasonable price. You don't have to wait to retrieve data any more.

Fast dependable internal solid state drive at a reasonable price

If it's any perspective I paid $250 for half this much storage in an SSD in 2016. Price is great and works as intended.

Works great. Fast, easy to install, and easy to clone my system drive to. Highly recommended drive.

Very fast compared to the old drive it replaced. Very easy to set up and there has been no problems at this point.

I am so glad that I upgraded the HD on my laptop to a SSHD. Things are running much quicker and smoother now.

Fast performance at a great price. Upgrade your hard drive to this SSD and you will be amazed at the increased performance.

This Samsung 860 EVO is a top rated drive according to my research, I have purchased two of these and backed up (Cloned) the operating systems on my Laptop and desktop ... I have been amazed by the speed of these drives !! Both of my Computers have NVME drives and that I believe is faster ... but I an happy with the two Samsung drives. I backed up 200 or so full length movies to the one in my laptop ... incredibly fast !!

I love this drive it was so easy to install and it super charges my Laptop so now it turns on almost instantly with no lag.

Not much to say that isn't already known. Bought this ssd to expand an HP Pavillion Gaming Desktop that I only had 512 ssd Nvm stick factory. Linked directly to the existing expansion port and cables with no issues. I mostly use the computer for graphic design, running Adobe programs and saving hundreds of large files in several formats that have to be at the ready. No problems at all and love the new universe of space I have!

Great move from mechanical to solid state, faster, more reliable. Wish I'd done this a while ago.

While most SSDs are fast, they do not all come with free migration software. The Samsung SSDs consistently rate at the top of the speed charts and also come with an amazingly simple piece of software that lets you migrate your OS and all of the files over to the new SSD. I have used this software at least 10 times on different SSDs/computers and have never had a single problem. For this reason, I always tell people if the just pickup the latest Samsung EVO series they will be good to go.

wont have to go back to hard drive to get good performance and storage for my computer. Worth every penny.

I frequently use 120Gb and 240Gb SSD drives to upgrade my clients, and the performance increase is great. Recently however, a client needed their Medical XRAY system upgraded, because the 500GB HD was running out of space. I purchased this 860 EVO 1TB drive, and WOW. With 42GB Buffer (the bigger the drive, the bigger the buffer) the response time for the system has dropped drastically. This system used to be a bottleneck on their network, when someone needed to retrieve xrays, no longer.

You cannot go wrong with Samsung. This was a replacement drive for a failed Seagate SATA drive on a Dell AIO box which was grinding and not booting. It was much smaller than the cavity but a little velcro will keep it in place. Although at present the machine only has Win 10 Pro and the timed boot up is 15-20 seconds even with the BIOS. My main desktop has a similar drive and with many more programs, it boots in 40 secs. So far, it's a winner!

Easy install. Snapped right into the open bay on a laptop purchased from BB on Black Friday. Performance is excellent.

Installed easily. Very happy with performance! Quadrupled my solid state memory without braking bank!

I've read reviews on the 860 EVO and I am impressed with the speed of this drive. I'm so glad that these come in large sizes!
