Installed in my laptop and it is amazingly fast .. almost instantaneous... Great drive for the cost

In my opinion, Samsung makes the best flash devices (SD cards, SSD, etc). It's super reliable and it's fast too.

I went through two HDD’s over the course of the last decade on my workhorse Lenovo ideapad laptop I use for graphic design. I backed up my essential files for work, and then I swapped out the HDD for this SSD and reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows. It boots instantaneously now. It has incredible read/write speed. My workflow and wait time on stuff to load was tremendously cut down. Can’t recommend enough switching to SSD.

This is the 3rd Samsung SSD I've installed on 3 different computers. They all work flawlessly and make an old HDD computer feel like a big upgrade. The speed is super impressive. And since there are no moving parts, it makes your computer quieter. And also your battery should last a little longer as these are more efficient in terms of power consumption compared to old spinning platter drives.

I got this on sale for a very good price, holds all my games and loads them up super quick.

This is a fantastic drive. Bought it for my son for his birthday. His laptop is only about a year old, but had a traditional HDD instead of an SSD. The difference is night and day. The machine boots lightning fast, Windows and applications load almost instantly. Used mirroring software to clone is old drive, and it was flawless. This is a relatively inexpensive way to really speed up any computer.

This helps to boost my old Dell laptop performance. Very easy to replace this SSD.

Once I installed the Samsung 860 EVO 1-TB SSD in my Dell Inspiron 15 i5558 laptop, my PC practically operated at warp speed, compared to my initial Hard Disk Drive. Samsung's cloning software made HDD to SSD transfer work easily & relatively quickly. Having already put 16 GB RAM into the PC, with Windows 7 it now functions like a machine costing twice the price. I'd use this to upgrade any machine with which it's compatible. And, with a 5-year Warranty, yet!

I bought this with a little usb travel case to use as an external HD for my Xbox 1. I love it. It's not going to completely change your game experience, but you will witness lower load times. If I'm on Modern Warfare with a purely console populated match, I'm usually loaded in first or earlier than most of the other players. Plus it's really nice having an extra TB of space that's mobile to go with you wherever.
