This is in my new gaming / vr pc. I have had no issues with speed or reliability.

Sony has always been a huge name, but after many years, they have relied too much on their name to carry their products. From TV’s to speakers, the quality goes down quick, but prices go up with Sony, but I am proud to say that I have been using Sony SSD’s for over 4 years now. I have them in 4 laptops, 2 desktops, both of my PS4 Pro’s, and I even converted an older one into a portable drive. Keep it up Sony!

Whether you get the 860 or 870, you can't go wrong if you're upgrading your old spin type HD. I replaced the old 5200 rpm HD in my 2012-2013 iMac, and it now works like a new computer, and it's incredibly fast! You can do the install yourself or bring it to a repair shop. I paid $50 to have ubreakifix do it. Best deal ever, and this thing really flies!

The packaging is clean and simple. The install super-easy, and the performance is super-fast.

In my opinion there's no reason to buy any other SSD than the Samsung Evo series. I have two older MacBooks, a 2009 and a 2012 13 inchs. Now both of them have 1TB Samsung 860 evos in them. Rock solid reliability, low power usage and fast boot up times. The 2009 had a 250 GB Evo 850 prior to picking up the 1TB Evo 860 on sale at Best Buy. I'm very pleased with the drive and the price.

This big drive took only a minute to install in my laptop, fit perfectly and makes bootup really fast.

I just installed this SSD and was satisfied with its performance. I installed it as a primary disk with my laptop's OS to change the orioginal HDD and I liked the final performance. Now I hope the SSD be very good quality and work for a long time. I hope do not have problems in the short or medium term. I rate the quality with 3 points because I have not tested it for a long time, only couple days. I hope it's good.

Does what it is advertised to do. Got it on a good deal. Definitely going to buy another for my other pc

Samsung SSDs have always treated me great. They have great read/write speeds and they do as advertised. I am pleasantly surprised that the price has went down from a few years ago. I recommend this to anyone as of right now. M.2 drives aren’t as efficient for daily storage use because of heat issues and you’d need to understand or have heat sinks for m2s so if you don’t understand any of that....then buy this.
