Customer Ratings & Reviews

I prefer Samsung drives especially when upgrading PC's to an SSD. The Magician migration software is very easy to use and works with their drives. I primarily use the drives for external storage on my MacBook for editing videos. Even when connected using a USB3/SATA adapter, its still fast. If it always is on you desk, you don't really need a case, just the adapter (make sure it has UASP - means fast read/writes).

This is the second Samsung SSD that I used to upgrade my laptops. Samsung gives 3 years warranty on its hard drives which is far more coverage than other manufacturers. After cloning, computer speed has improved at every aspect, particularly booting up. Price has been coming down making it more affordable. I bought this 1 TB for $109.-, $30.- less than my 500 GB that I bought 2 years ago.

I’ve been using solid state drives exclusively for several years. The difference in computer performance is astonishing... like the difference between high speed internet and dial up. Samsung EVO is a solid name brand with a great reputation. What are you waiting for? Buy this drive, replace the old school spinning drive in your laptop. You will be shocked by the increase in speed and performance. I’ll never go back.

Excellent SDD for photos upto 1TB. Enough for two years of photography

Great product. Very fast and reliable. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing improvement over platter drive ! Boot up is in seconds ! Apps open in seconds versus spinning circle of Windows ! A definite improvement and necessary upgrade ! Samsung software made cloning easy ! Solid state drive is THE future ! So fast and good capacity ! Will see about longevity ! Reviews say Samsung is better ! Awesome price & buy from Bestbuy ! Thanks again !

Samsung EVO SSDs are legends for a reason. Fast and Reliable.

Great SSD! Swapped out from an old 500 gig Samsung SSD! Easy to install and swap data!

Great fast SSD. Reliable and the speeds which it says are correct. SanDisk is a great choice

I put this in my Mac Pro to replace an old SATA drive and it’s much faster and more reliable.

I think Samsung SSDs don't need any reviews, but here it goes! I don't buy any other SSD when I need a mission critical storage device. Almost all my NVMe and SSD devices are Samsung. No issues, excellent performance and great temps. When I buy a product the purchase is usually based on quality, performance AND operational life expectancy!

I went in looking for just the 500gig, but they were out, so i got the 1tb. glad i did by the time i moved all my games ive used 500gig. but the ssd does what it is intended too the loading times are so much better than a conventional hdd!, easy to put in hook up power and sata and go, came with a drive management software just have to go into windows and activate the disk and set the drive name

I replicated my boot disk and had this up and running in no time! It's super fast and BIG.

Easy to install. Plenty of space. Not much more to say.

Reliable name brand. Fast speed. Never had a Samsung ssd fail on me

Installed with minimum difficulty. Performed as I expected. Would buy another.

I filled up my Samson 970 plus M.2 NVME (boot drive) quicker than I expected, so I added this SSD and have no complaints. The read/write speeds are great. It only took a few minutes to transfer 400+ GB of games from my boot drive to this SSD. I don’t notice much, if any difference between loading games from this drive versus the M.2 drive they were previously stored on. Glad I bought it, no complaints.

Absolutely love this hard drive, so easy to use and holds so much.

Great price for a SSD. Easy install and works like a champ. Would highly recommend.

Great reliable and fast branded SSD. Plug and play. No issues.
