EASY TO INSTALL AND GAVE IT GAVE MY OLD LAPTOP NEW LIFE.

Installed one for my friend who has an HDD and you can notice the significance in speed when it boots to the os. I bought one for myself as well and I could still notice the difference even thought it's a slight upgrade from another ssd. Only negative is that it does not come with a data cable . Samsung only has a migration tool for free that will clone your drive.

Speedy, reliable SSD. Mac-compatible - though probably not for the older NVidia HD controller chip in Macs from '06-'09 - check if your Mac has that chipset before buying this drive) - but that should not be taken as a complaint; with the correct Mac (most 2010 or newer), this is a great SSD and should now be available at lower prices now that Samsung has started making their 4TB SSDs.

This is a super fast drive. This is especially true when you download Samsung’s proprietary Magician software from their website. My six year old computer with Windows 10 now boots up in 15 seconds! The installer was very surprised at how fast it is. This was a great investment and gas given new life to my older laptop. Highly recommended!

The ease of installation is great fast easy

A definite step up from the old drive system. I cloned my operating system to the SSD, changed the starting drive for the system and was back on line and running 10x faster on start up as before. My old drive is now archived and disconnected in the event my system gets hacked. I also use SSD to maintain an OFF computer backup.

Excellent SSD, boots fast and plugged in with no trouble

Easy install. Speeds up computer startup & shutdown. Apps load faster.

If you are thinking of upgrading to an SSD from an HDD but are on the fence trust me this upgrade will breathe new life into your rig. I put this into a new gaming rig I built and into my server rig that I've had for 6 years. Running it as a boot drive boots your PC and apps so fast it's amazing and my 6 year old rig is 10 times faster booting even from when it was first built!

I upgraded my SSD array and decided only to settle on this drive which was a great time due to price push down. I'm very impressed about the performance given that its a TLC drive (I previously only used MLC drives for this application due to concerns) Endurance is much improved and I haven't seen a slow down yet after writing a couple of TB of data over the last two months.

I was hesitant to make the switch over to SSD, but I’m very glad I did. I primarily use my laptop for music production and this drive sped everything up significantly. If you are searching for a serious speed improvement or are not sure about switching to SSD, don’t wait, just do it! You won’t be disappointed!

One of few ssds I've had no trouble with, is high speed while still affordable

If you’re still using an old hard drive, this will make your computer feel brand new. The loading times are blazing fast. The OS startup times and blazing fast. It’s truly amazing and truly reliable. I’ve installed an operating system in 20 mins start to finish when that used to take hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Samsung is the way to go for SSDs

It’s fast and provides sufficient space for storing necessary software.

Well known name in the market. Very good price for SSD’s. This is all I have in my system. I have one 500GB SSD for programs, two 1T SSD for games, and one 1T SSD I swapped in my laptop. All Samsung evos. It complete changed my laptop with load times due to SSD being much faster than a magnetic hard drive. It writes, reads, and stores data exceptionally well.

Awesome product. Super fast load times. Easy install.

Loving the speed of my ssd. Works great and was easy to transfer and install

I like the physical size, but even more -- the speed for doing backups!!!

Samsung SSDs are absolutely the fastest and most reliable

Bought it, it was easy to install and it is fast. What more could you want.
