Great price for a solid state drive, my PC boots up so much faster now

(Disclaimer: Yes I know the US is no longer using the gold standard behind the dollar.) This Samsung is, in my book, the gold standard for SSD devices. And, these are reliable enough to be used not just in laptop upgrades, but as Linux server boot drives (albeit overkill on size). When these are on sale at BB, it is hard not to buy 2-3 for upgrade inventory.

I bought this SSD to replace the HDD in my mother-in-law’s laptop. It’s quieter, faster and cooler after swapping the drives. I don’t mean the Fonz kind of cool. The laptop doesn’t get as warm near where the HDD used to be. I’ve used several brands of SSDs in the past but Samsung EVO seems to be the fastest, hands down.

I had Geek Squad install a Samsung -860 Evo 1TB Internal SSd and I am Very happy with the performance. It's worth the little extra it cost to get a good Internal SSD drive to speed up my Laptop. If you don"t believe me check the reviews. I have had this product for a few weeks and the longer i use it the more i know i made the right Choice.

I bought this for my dell G3 and it works great. Very fast and easy to install. It was a little tricky to get it to show up on my laptop but after I figured it out it worked with amazing results.

I was having issues with my computer. Talk about slow! I run Premier Pro video editing on my Lenovo. The screen would freeze and take forever to do a twenty minute job. I had this hard drive installed at my local Best Buy and my computer is a new machine. No longer do I need to wait a few minutes just for it to start. This drive truly is a game changer.

Computer boots up in less than 30 seconds and everything opens quick.

MY sister's Laptop crashed and we wanted to try to recover the data from it. Here comes the Geek Squad. they tried to recover it, but they also suggested just replacing the HD instead of tossing the laptop. For a few more $$ than just installing it, we got 1yr of Tech support, the HD installed with OS updated to Win10. Works better then New!!

After having the 1TB internal SATA solid state drive installed by the Best Buy geek squad and using it for awhile now on my computer, I wonder why I didn’t get this sooner. The solid state drive is so much quicker than the old drive that came with the computer. Everything loads so quickly, and there is no delay in loading my drawing programs.

This is a nice drive, easy to install, and good value!

FAST EASY TO USE LIGHT WEIGH AND CAN USE AS A INTERNAL OR PORTABLE DRIVE

I highly recommend this for any older MacBook Pros that you are able to upgrade yourself. Putting this in our 2012 MacBook Pro, along with 16GBs of ram, transformed our laptop into a whole new computer. It can functionally compete with many high end laptops out there.

I bought this to replace the Hdd in my PS4 pro when it burned up. Am I ever impressed! Gaming is much smoother, and downloading and copying game files or updates is lightning fast compared to the o.e.m. Hdd. Had I known the night and day difference, I would have made this upgrade from day one! Overall a great investment!
