Samsung makes the best products and this is no exception. I bought this originally for my PS4 Pro but decided to go with another SSD instead since Sony caps the speed internally. I put this in my PC instead and files move so much faster i.e. photos my wife takes and helps with editing as well. Over all this is the best you can get for SSD's.

This SSD is amazing. It sped up my wife's laptop 10 fold..as she went from a 1 TB mechanical to this is night and day difference. Boots out of Sleep and restarts in seconds. Worth every penny once you experience it.

Purchased this ssd as a secondary drive for my backup laptop. Very easy to install. My only complaint, if any, is I wish it would have come with screws so install it. Luckily, the installer had some. Now that I know the laptop doesn’t come with the screws, I can pick some up from eBay for the next time I need them.

This is the perfect replacement for a failed hard drive, do away with mechanical ones and go solid state. Works great and is very dependable. I have them in 2 of my computers and also have a couple in hard drive enclosures that I use for storage and for Time Machine on my Mac Book Pro.

Samsung EVO series is known for its reliability and it hasn't proved me wrong with the past 5 EVO SSD's I have installed on my own personal systems as well as friends and families. Even though it costs a bit more than its competitors, I always go with Samsung for a peace of mind and performance.

My old mechanical hard drive inside of my iMac finally took a dump. This meant that I had to replace it with something new. Decided to finally upgrade to a new SSD. Did some research and was happy to pick up a Samsung SSD. This hard drive definitely lives up to the Samsung brand and it performs faster than other SSD's such as SanDisk.

As the old HDD failed in my 6-year old desktop, I was considering buying a new desktop, but I decided to try this Samsung SSD in the old computer. It turned out huge upgrade. It's very fast and stable. Later, I bought a mounting bracket to fit this 2.5 inch SSD into the 3.5 inch drive bay.

Great product. Fast, easy to install, works wonderfully.

Excellent performance and easy to install and use!

I had my desktop computer which is five years old upgraded with a Samsung solid-state hard drive. The geek squad technicians did a fantastic job at cleaning up my computer and installing the solid-state hard drive. The computer is operating better than it did when I first purchased it at Best Bite. Thank you geek squad.

Great HD, super fast and extremely simple to install

The SSD is a blessing. My system starts in seconds from a power off to the Windows Log On screen. Everything just works better and faster. There are so many read/write activities placed on the hard drive that a 7200 RPM and my old 10000 RPM velociraptor drive are snails compared to the SSD. My whole system is great !!

Very fast and dependable...........................

I keep getting these SSDs and they seem to work great. Never had any problems so I keep going back to them. These are for backup drives for my desktop computer and seem to have good read/write speed for the most part. Not sure what else to say but for the money when on sale, it's hard not to get them especially for getting an SSD.

I was looking for a bigger SSD for my Dell laptop from 2012 and found this. The software from Samsung makes it so easy to migrate everything from your old hard drive or SSD. Just hook up the Samsung to an enclosure, connect it, and the program does the rest. Couldn’t ask for a better user friendly experience.

Fast, reliable, and cost effective. This a must have!

This drive was easy to install and performs very well.

Has been an incredible ssd. Super fast and reliable

I installed this drive in my 13” mid-2012 MacBook Pro that had been running slower and slower over the years. The Samsung 860 EVO has made my laptop run better than it did when it was new. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve performance without having to buy a new machine.

Replacing a traditional spinning hard drive with a solid state one is arguably one of the best upgrades possible in terms of immediately noticeable performance changes. Now that SSD prices are low enough, buying a large capacity drive such as this one, should be on every PC builders equipment list.
