I keep getting these SSDs and they seem to work great. Never had any problems so I keep going back to them. These are for backup drives for my desktop computer and seem to have good read/write speed for the most part. Not sure what else to say but for the money when on sale, it's hard not to get them especially for getting an SSD.

Installed this SSD into a old 2012 MacBook Pro for a family member. The computer had been sluggish and non responsive. Installed the OS, swapped the drive and reinstalled the data. This thing is fast, programs and data load in no time. Definitely an easy and worthwhile upgrade.

This drive was easy to install and performs very well.

This drive gave new life to an old iMac. It now boots up in 20 seconds or so and all apps load super fast. The Mac I installed it in is a 2011....the new iMacs apple choose not to let you get inside the machine so newer ones are out as far as an owner disk upgrades because of the glued on screens.

Good drive. Easily Installed and appears to be pretty quick.Be sure to leave some empty space when You partition the drive. It will greatly increase the drives longevity.

Decided on Samsung SSD for backup drive on my new HP desktop. Needed screws to mount it, but fit perfectly in spare drive bay on HP Omen. Plugged in ... turned on computer ... Googled adding drive to Windows 10 ... worked great. Best Buy lowered price ... couldn't be happier. Best Buy staff was great as always.

You've probably read this many times, but this is one of the best upgrades you you perform on any computer. My boot times dropped from 1:45 sec to 20 sec! I installed this into a Lenovo ideapad P500 along with a hard drive for the best of both worlds. Speedy and reliable.

I installed this in my laptop to replace a slow hard drive. With a cable and replication kit purchased separately I was able to duplicate my internal drive in about 45 minutes. The original was 2TB but was not close to being full. I get a much faster start up and the response when I'm working is great.

I actually upgraded from a 512gb Samsung SSD drive this 1 TB drive, so other than the extra space and peace of mind, I don't see much of a difference. I've been a Samsung SSD fan ever since they started costing less than $500 per drive, for the price I couldn't see NOT upgrading.

Bought this for my PS4. Wow. Vastly improved game load times. This has made all the difference in how effective my PS4 is. Honestly, I load in faster than players without it so I’m often in game world before others. Had it a year now. No hiccups. Works flawlessly. Highly recommend it for a gaming system.

I currently have 6 Samsung EVO SSDs connected internally and externally to my Alienware Aurora R6. These games nowadays require too much drive space. Their no longer compressed which is great but take up a lot of GBs. These are awesome on PC and PS4s to decrease load times and increase responsiveness.

I have a nice fast ASUS gaming computer. As soon as I bought it I maxed out the ram and now I am replacing the 5200 speed 1 gig hard drive with this Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB Solid state drive. Start ups went from a couple of minutes to under 20 seconds. It just does everything faster. I am very glad I purchased this drive.

I am a technology pro.---Samsung makes some of the best, most reliable and cutting edge SSD's on the market. I used these models in a major overhaul for a hi-level computer lab. Hours of use and none of these products have failed and it feels like a processor upgrade.

This drive is so amazingly fast and at a great price.

I was late to the scene getting one of these, but I am sure glad I finally did! It made my old computer run like new. So much so that I purchased a second one for my other computer. And I have recommended this to my friends and family! I suggest you get one if your computer is older and slow. It will give it new life.

we have bought this laptop with an conventional hard drive. The laptop was slow in the startup and in handling of several programs at the same time. We had exchanged the old hard drive with an SATA product. With this exchange is the laptop fast in all applications and is working like it should be with the first day.
