I swapped out the standard hard drive in my desktop for this and what an improvement! I was a breeze to download the cloning software from Samsung's web page to migrate my data to the new drive. My desktop takes seconds to boot instead of what seemed like forever and opening applications is much faster! Highly recommended!

I have purchased 3 Samsung 1T SSD to breathe life back into old computers. I have put them in a 5 year old Lenovo laptop, a 6 year old iMac and a 4 year old Dell laptop. Each of these devices was crawling and really showing their age. After upgrading to the Samsung 1T SSD the machines all started performing like new again.

This solid state drive replaced my old hard drive in my desktop computer. It increased startup speed and in general made my computer faster. Almost like a new PC. I also used a second EVO to do periodic backup in the Clone mode, so I always have a complete replacement SSD.

HP needs to use this SDD instead of the HDD they installed OEM on a laptop computer that I purchased in February, 2018. I exchanged or repaired under warranty this laptop 3 times before I said ENOUGH, during the last attempt to repair it under warranty. Bit the bullet and purchased this SDD and it is totally awesome,

Those is a quality product. Very fast. Easy to install.

It said for laptops, but I put this in an HP Envy tower/desktop computer to upgrade the hard drive. It made a huge difference in boot up and general speed of the computer. I would recommend an upgrade to a solid state drive for anyone who wants a little extra speed and to get some additional life out of your computer.

I installed Windows 10 on my 1TB SSD and it booted up super quick. Instead of taking 2 to 3 minutes with my old Hard Drive, this SSD booted up Windows 10 in about 15 seconds. My Programs are on the SSD, also, and they run faster, as well. It is about the Access Speed. It is just sooooo much quicker. I love it.

I trust certain names when it comes to computer internals. Samsung is one of them. This is a decent SSD. I did not realize it was not best suited for gaming, so I will be changing this out in the future. Thankfully, I have a business class system I can move this to.

There's not much to say here. Samsung is a great brand. All my SSDs are Samsung. I've bought three others and they work well. Use these to replace and speed up any computer. Pair them with a spinning disk drive if you are a glutton for disk space like I am. Done.

Used this to replace a hard drive in my Mac, the operating system is very responsive and accessing apps and files is super quick. This was the best solution to getting a few extra years out of a great computer. 5 year warranty is a great bonus and speaks to how they feel about the product quality.

This SSD is very fast! I got this because I hate the old fashioned HDDs and all the problems associated with disk failures. I wish the SSD was at least 4TB, but the SSD over 2TB are still very expensive at the moment for me. I plan on getting more SSDs in the near future!

I have used the EVO 860 to do many upgrades for friends to improve performance on their PCs. It is always nice knowing this is a great reliable product with great technical support only a phone call away. Quality,ease of use,price all key...I would reccomend highly.

I really thought we were gonna have to buy a whole new laptop, but low and behold, this thing made an oldish laptop like new again. This is the third one we’ve bought (for us, and 2 family members) and everyone is amazed at what a difference it makes!

I replaced a 1TB Hard drive on a new HP Envy computer with this Samsung 860 Evo SSD, Now my computer boots immediatlley and apps open immediately, Well worth the $289 spent and cloning and installing using the samsung software it directs you to was seamless.

I purchased this ssd to replace the very slow hard drive in my desktop. Using Samsung's data migration software, I was able to easily clone my boot drive. The ssd has performed flawlessly. The first time I booted up the computer with the ssd, I was amazed how quickly Windows loaded. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Very happy I purchased this! Is blazing quick in a Ps4 Pro, loading new games much quicker than a standard hdd. I did have the Seagate hybrid drive in previously, but highly recommend this over that. 2 TB is a bit pricey at the moment, but I think the 1tb are the sweet spots for the time being

I use this drive as my second gaming drive, and the speed is much improved. Loading screens are a thing of the past with this bad boy. I'm talking Borderlands 2, Skyrim, and Outer Worlds. Loading screens are literally less than 10 seconds. You cant go wrong, especially when these are on sale.

Samsung makes some of the best SSDs in my research. This SSD performs great. I installed it in a new computer I bought and it worked like every other SSD I’ve used. In my old computer (7 years old) I used an 840 EVO and that is still working great this day.

Thats all I really need to say. My laptop is like new. An IT guy told me mot to do this. He wanted to sell me a rebuilt laptop. I smelled a rat. Put this SSD in and all I can say is Wow. Its been about 2 to 3 montha now and not one single issue.
