This has been a very dependable drive. Plenty of space and seems very fast. I have put a second one into my computer and would recommend this drive to others.

So this will be my easiest review. Do you love speed? Do you love a 60 second install? Do you love a high quality product? This thing is all 3. The price is amazing and the performance is just as good. Hooked right up the the Sata cable and worked right away.

I bought this to replace an old fashioned hard drive. Thought I would have some struggle to clone the system and start up with the new drive. But it turned out to be really easy using a Easy gig. Afterward, the system just started without any trouble. The speed is a lot faster.

It been a couple weeks since i got the SSD and work fine no problems to installed , nice speed pro no the best but for the price it enough to save my games

So far, this Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SATA SSD has performed well. It has been 3 weeks, and the laptop boots lightning fast ! No glitches or issues yet. I have even noticed that the laptop cooling fan doesn't run nearly as much as it used to with the new drive. NEC

My laptop's hard drive was failing, as it was taking way too long to boot up, run programs, etc. Before getting this SSD, a fresh power up would take more than 30 minutes. With this SSD, everything is powered up, security scanned, and ready to rock within 4/5 minutes!

This thing gave life back to my PS4. I thought my internet was bad. I also thought that the games i were playing servers were lagging. None of the above 95% of those issues went away by installing this. Do yourself a favor and swap that outdated HDD for this SSD. You will not be disappointed!

This thing is fast, and has plenty of storage space for most people. I use this specifically to run games off of, boot drive is on an even faster nvme drive. Load times compared to traditional hdd's really cannot be compared, even 7800 rpm drives feel like they load at a snails pace.

My Toshiba Satellite laptop now works better than when it was brand new. Most of my important files were saved and my Windows10 and Microsoft Office 2013 soft ware were reloaded and everthing works really smoothly. Lightning fast coming on line. If your computer is sick, go see the Geeks.

Heard good things about the 860 Evo so I decided to try it out. It was packaged nicely but wish it would have came with a power cable. Luckily I kept all the extra cables that came with my motherboard. Install was simple and my pc immediately recognized it. Seems pretty fast and so far is working great.

I had previously tried another brand that worked at first then would fail to be recognized by my computer. I returned it and purchased this one. I've had zero issues with it and it works fast. Installed in a 2014 Mac Mini, and now it's like a brand new computer. Apps open extremely fast and boots up instantly.

Amazingly quiet and very fast drive. The technology on these drives just keeps getting better and better and this one is ahead of the rest. Cheaper drives out there but we decided against saving a few dollars. I'm glad we paid a little bit more for a lot more quality. Now that's value.

I have no clue how this compares to other solid-state drives, but it makes a WORLD of difference over an almost-full spinning hard-drive. Had been contemplating the swap for over a year. Am SO mad at myself for not acting earlier. SUPER pleased! Was surprisingly simple to install.

In the market for a SSD? This one is worth it. I cloned my old HD onto this one and put it in. My computer turns on right away and turns off right away now. It's much faster and everything loads better. Like buying a new computer. Def would do it again.

perfect for what i needed and very reliable. I have faith that samsung SSDs will last at least 5 years, because they actually give a 5 year warranty. Unlike APPLE who only gives 1 year. Suckers! Let's go Brandon!

"Night and day." That is what the Geek Squad tech told me about installing the ssd in my laptop. I thought he was exaggerating. Man was I wrong! My laptop boots up and is at the sign in screen in about 7 seconds. When I log off it's even faster! Thank you Geek Squad for the tremendous recommendation!

I am slowly going through the processes to install this hard drive, So far I have migrated the old drive to this drive. With the provided software this task was done with ease. Installing the drive should be easy but I am reluctant to open my labtop.

I replaced my dell Inspiron HDD with this SSD (even though the Dell rep had told me it would not be compatible, and by the way, I don’t trust these computer “geniuses”) and the difference in speed was so amazing. Samsung ‘s software helped me clone my old hdd and I just dropped this in. Worked like a charm.

So, this hard disk is perfect. It made my laptop more faster. More than before but packaging was so bad only paper packet and when package arrived. It was so wet and damaged even hard drive box was so badly damage but SSD and warranty/instructions book somehow survived.

Samsung is the gold standard for SSDs. Their drives are fast, have great build quality, and good supporting software. This drive will need to be formatted after you plug it in, but it's plug & play for the most part. Very happy with this one.
