Used the Samsung Magician Transfer utility to move data from an older SSD to the 1TB 860. Swapped out the drives and my PC booted flawlessly. Have used the Samsung for years and have always been impressed with their reliability. Highly Recommended!

I purchased this SSD to replace a 1 TB hard drive in a 2012 IMac. The IMac had become incredibly slow. Paid $149.00 for the drive, and $125.00 to mirror the old one and install it. It now runs like a new ultra fast machine, and I saved around $1,700 by not buying a new IMac.

I replaced the older style platter HD in my 4 year old laptop and it's like new again. Boot up speed is unbelievable fast now. I just cloned the old drive onto this new one and now I have twice the capacity of the older 500 GB drive plus it I get longer lasting battery power.

This new SSD by Samsung is a great product. I highly recommend it. From the first time I turned my system on with the new hard drive it is lightning speed fast. I couldn't have made a better decision while deciding what Hard Drive would be best for me.

I ran out of storage with the original HD in my PS4 and need more space and hearing the benefits of a SSD I thought I would try it. I watched a quick YouTube video showing how to install it and it works perfectly and loads certain games much quicker than before.

I have previously purchased the Samsung SSD in both the 250GB and the 500GB for other computers and very pleased with their performance. When the 1TB SSD went on sale, I couldn't pass it up to upgrade my current computer. At this price, my son also upgraded his computer as well.

It was easy to install (after buying a mounting tray) and works great. It's hard to tell if the access speed has improved over my old SATA drive, though. But it works great so I'm not complaining.

My 2015 iMac was slowing down, so I purchased the 860 EVO, and used it to clone my hard drive. I now use the EVO as the drive for the iMac. I back up the EVO to an external drive, and twice/month, I clone the EVO to the internal HDD. Works great.

Love this drive. Will always buy Samsung’s. Have had nothing but positive experiences with them. Migration tool is great. Added this to my laptop for extra space. File transfers are quick. I also do music production and pointing my DAW to this drive when recording is great.

Upgraded from an older SSD and this was even faster. With rapid mode enabled the R/W speeds are in the 3k range, without it they are around 500MB/s. Either way, it's super fast. If M.2 isn't an option for you, this is the next best thing.

Bought two of these and put them in raid 0. Just as fast as the 860 evo pro for half the price. Recommend 2 of these over 1 of those anyday

Aside from their storage capacity, Solid State Drives beat Hard Drives in just about every category. Of the different brands available, you can't go wrong with Samsung. It's so quiet and efficient, you won't even notice it's there—which is just as it should be.

Used this to replace an HDD for Dell Inspiron AIO 23. Boot up very fast and loading of games is very fast also compared with the previous HDD. Very easy to install because their are lots of reference in internet. I dont know why, but it also improves the graphic for some games.

Threw this drive on an older system and installed windows on it. It boots up in 20 secs or faster!!! Made me feel like I had a brand new computer. If you have an older setup and want to breathe life back into her, add an SDD. Will blow you away.

I swapped out my desktop and laptop hard drives for Samsung SSD drives. My 8 year old laptop in particular was like getting a new device. So, next I did my home built desktop. The transition was smooth using a readily available cloning program.

My Windows HD was running at capacity most of the time due to all the bloat from the Win updates and start up processes. My IT friend told me to switch over to a SSD. The cloning process took an evening. Now the start up processes are done with in 20 seconds.

I have been using SSDs since 2007 and have used most of the popular brands of SSDs. The Samsung 'EVO' line has never let me down and I'll bet I have bought more than 40 of them over the years for my clients and myself. A few of the other brands have failed but never a Samsung EVO.

I put this in my HP Z400 workstation SATA2. Works great even without SATA3. replaced an old WD black drive. This thing screams. Like having a new machine. I installed Windows 10 clean. Installed the Samsung Magician software to apply the utilities. No issues.

Excellent SSD, it was easy to install into my laptop, sped up my laptop slightly and allowed me to get to what I need to do faster. Quality is good, have yet to see any performance issues, and hopefully won't for the years to come.

Purchased to upgrade for a 2nd gen PS4, and then moved into a ps4 pro. Other than only being able to use 861 GB for applications and what not which sucked. Not sure how much of the used 139 GB space is used for SSD or ps4 software. Overall really happy with this upgrade.
