I built my own gaming system using 10K drives. Eventually, the drives needed replacement. I went with the SDD option. The Samsun 860 EVO increased the overall speed of the system for boot up the systems as well as loading/playing games.

Not much to say - I got it, imaged it from a magnetic disk, and installed it. Works flawlessly, and has the effect of making reads and writes faster (and lag time when I'm working lower). Price was good too. Would recommend.

We installed this in a laptop because the existing 500GB SSD was starting to get full. We cloned the existing drive and then resized the partitions using the EASEUS products and were off and running. Prices was not super quick but worried perfectly the first time.

bought this for an alienware laptop. The laptop was an older model that came with 2 hard drives in raid. After replacing the hard drives with 2 of these, it was like night and day performance increase. I would highly recommend.

Works perfectly. Samsung is the only brand I purchase in SSD's. Although I have only purchase a few of the 1 TB drives, I have purchased over 20 of the 250 GB Samsung drives and they all work perfectly. Never had a return.

For 1 Terabyte, it is a small SSD that holds a lot of information and data. Easy to put into a computer but you do need the extra holder since it is not as large as a normal SATA drive. Good speed on transfer of data.

Works great so far, really notice a difference in my laptop. Did the install myself which I recommend you do also, really not a difficult process just make sure you take your time unscrewing the back of the laptop for the screws are easily strippable.

I have limited computer skills, but replacing my failing hard disk drive with this solid-state drive was very easy to install. My ASUS laptop is back to tip-top shape.

I bought this drive to replace my main drive in a desktop computer and wow! I’m using it with windows 7. Easy installation especially with Samsung software to copy data. Boot time is a fraction of what it was. Feels like a new computer. Very worthwhile upgrade.

Took laptop in for making loud noises I thought might be hard drive. HD was having issues, so I opted for a new SSD. Did not fix the loud noises, but the laptop does seem to be working better. (Task Manager showed the original drive working at 95% when it was just idle) Will be taking laptop back to get the Recovery portion of my original drive put on a stick. Also to replace fan (source of noise) and add memory. Fan has not arrived yet, but should be here this week. May have this drive and memory added to an older All-In-One that I use as well

I use an adapter on this drive to use as an external drive. Using this drive for a back up of photographs and documents, without any difficulties. The only thing I needed to do is add the drive in settings and format it...not a problem.

One of our family laptops died. I replaced the hard drive with this one and was able tp use software to recover most files from the old corrupted one. It has worked perfectly over the past year

I had to get this for an SSD that was bricked on my gaming laptop and this did exactly what it was supposed to do. Laptop still booted appropriately fine afterwards with issue along with storage.

Ever since I installed the Samsung Evo 860 SSD, my computer has been lightning fast. I have not had any problems with this SSD. It boots up my computer in seconds, starts up my applications super quick, and all in all made my computer faster in general.

Works great. Placed 2 separate OS’s on it and can choose which to operate upon start up. Reason for doing this is several programs I run for work are not supported by W10. Also, the amount of storage is amazing. I’ll never fill it up!

My internal HD failed in my iMac and I chose to replace it with this Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD. I could not believe how much faster my iMac performs now, plus the SSD runs cooler than the old drive therefore keeping the internals of my iMac cooler.

Replaced my Seagate SSHD w/ same size Samsung SSD. Used Minitool Partition Wizard Free 10.2.3 to copy the Seagate OS and files to the Samsung drive. Flawless integration! The difference in speed is noticeable!

I got this solid state hard drive to replace my oem laptop hard drive that started making noise. Took 15 min to install. Transferred all files to new HD via Cable i found on amazon for $5. Works great.

This device worked very well in speeding up my 4-year-old laptop with an older mechanical hard drive. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone if they have an older computer and aren't quite ready to purchase a new one.

I bought this to upgrade my ps4 pro and wished I wouldve done it sooner. The physical swap out was easier than anticipated 5 mins tops, and uploading the firmware was simple as well. Highly recommend if you're looking for a ps4 upgrade
