I purchased this drive over the HP version because the salesman said it came with cloning software, but it did not. The software had to be downloaded, just like the HP drive. After cloning my old system drive I had problems getting this new drive to boot. Then, at random times the drive will lock up for 2 minutes at a time with the drive light on solid. Eventually it runs, but I shouldn't have to wait 2 minutes just when opening a program. Over time the 'locking up' has reduces, but still happens at times. The drive is fast when working right.

My wifes aging I3 laptop seemed to be getting slower every day. She complained constantly about how long it took to boot up . I Installed this drive and she is thrilled at the speed of bootup, faster updates etc at a fraction of the cost of a new computer.

Been using this drive for a few years now... WORKING GREAT AND FAST!! Running in a 2009 Mac Pro with LOTS of use. Really woke the machine up!

Picked up on sale to speed up load times on a Xbox one s. So far it seems to have done just that. Good reputation, no complaints.

While there are tons of SSD options and SATA can't compare to an NVME SSD. This is the best SATA SSD you can get. Still much faster than a traditional HDD and cheaper than an NVME. Works great with my Xbox as an external drive. Games load much faster.

I was out of space on my C-drive (samsung 750 EVO) so I cloned it to this new 1TB EVO and expanded it out...worked perfectly. My older Samsung drive was working perfectly, so I fully expect this one to perform at least as well.

I bought a pair of these for use as a RAID 1 array - their performance and stability are perfect for that application. My only complaint is that the Samsung Magician application won't let me check the status of their firmware when they're in RAID mode.

I bought this on sale for black Friday. I didn't need it since I already had a small SSD for a boot drive and a 3tb hard drive, but I wanted another one for my games. It still works flawlessly and its really fast. My game load times are almost instant.

might need to get a 2tb and above as it seems 1tb is not enough for games lol.. great SSD either way it's fantastic. this is my second samsung SSD I own. also don't forget to format your drive after you plug it into your computer.

Had a 128GB SSD that I was using for system along with a 2TB SSD for all the other stuff. Replaced the 128 with this 1TB and have had zero issues and I like that I now have everything primary running on this one drive with backup going to the 2TB.

I have been switching all of my computers to solid state hard drives. Then I use a program to copy all data to SSD and they work beautifully. I have used this model of SSD on 3 computers and have NEVER had an issue

I purchased this during the holiday sale and honestly it's the cheapest I've found which is one of the reasons why I gave it four stars instead of five because of the price point other than that, if you have a PC that doesn't have an SSD hard drive let me tell you it will make a difference. I got my ASUS laptop back in 2016-ish and after upgrading to the SSD drive, The startup logo stays on the screen for barely 2 seconds now. The software from Samsung made it seamless to move data.

This is my first time building a PC and my first time installing an SSD. The first thing I noticed was the speeds! Everything opens up almost instantly. Booting up takes about 10 seconds.

I have several Samsung Evo drives. These drives are just what you need to speed up your computer replacing that old mechanical hard drive. Samsung includes migration software or you can use your own. I highly recommend this drive

Bought this to replace a crashed mechanical HDD. Installation and software setup was easy. Laptop runs faster/cooler and quieter with the new SSD. Reliability is still TBD as I've only been using the drive for a few weeks.

Purchased on sale...great performance for a highly rated SSD drive. One of the few SSD drives that comes with software to not only analyze its performance, but to also enhance -tweak using the free magician software.

I was building a dual boot (Win10 64 bit, Ubuntu Linux) and needed a sold state drive. This one worked perfectly on the first try. Win10 installed effortlessly. I've had great success with Samsung drives and this one kept the streak intact.

The best of the best. Highest quality ssd you can purchase and at a very good price. Do not just buy the cheapest , prone to fail, ssd you can buy , when you can get a more reliable one. Just do your homework.

Fastest SSD available. If you’re transferring large files, like RAW files, this is one of the best options. It’s a bit pricier, but clearly one of the fastest options. Highly recommend if performance is your top priority.
