It replaced built in seagate on Dell xps8700. Samsung comes w no screws, no cable. The Dell has no holes for 2.5 drive. I bought plastic 2.5 - 3.5 adapter. Download Samsung migration software- and ran it for 1tb usb2, took about 3hrs. No hiccups.

Great SSD as always from Samsung. Their SSDs are prosumer SSDs with great read and write speed. I've owned many of their M.2 SSDs and 2.5in SSDs and none of them have failed. This is a must-have for any PCs

I love the cloning software from samsung. I tried another program first cause im dumb and it was a nightmare. Then i tried the samsung version and it was super quick and worked perfectly the first time. This SSD is super quick and works perfectly.

Surprised that the Data Drive received the low GB count and the OS drive had the 1TB . Nothing was in my Data drive. Thought I had lost all of what was in my data drive, but found a folder on my desktop called Geek Squad Backup that had all those Data Drive files. Couldn't transfer them to the D drive because it had the low GB count that was in the original OS Drive. So, I have to go to the backup folder to retrieve any of my other files. Didn't get this state drive put in till 7-25-19 even after buying it on July 2.

Geek Squad recommended to help with my slow computer issues. It improved my computer 100%. It is so much faster now. Very satisfied. They had it installed and my computer back in my lap in 24 hours.

I decided to take my older laptop and switch it over to SSD. I have tested it and it is definitely faster than it was before. I am planning on doing the same to my newer laptop, and my desktop soon. I wanted to use my older one as a test.

Samsung SSD's are reliable and fast. Pricing is always reasonable and the drives are worth every penny. 1TB is great for storing additional games or images without taking up the main drive for the OS.

Works great. These go on sale often. There's a newer version of this product, though. I'm using this drive as my Boot drive, and my computer starts up in seconds with this SSD installed.

This is my second 860 EVO 1T Internal SATA Solid State Drive, and was purchased to back-up the first purchase about 2 yrs ago, and used to back-up my operating drive prior to a serious OS upgrade. Both drives operate flawlessly.

Best SSD on the market - it's fast and makes a huge improvement if you're upgrading from a standard spindle hard-drive. Best Buy often has a great deal on these too. It's worth the updrade.

Bought this one and the EVO 500GB installed the 500GB without any problems, expecting the same with this one, will replace 850 PRO 256GB in desktop, compared price and ratings wit Sandisk, HP, and WD. Samsung is the standard for reliability

Installing this SSD drive was the smartest thing I could have done it change my computer from slow to better than fast. If you're thinking of upgrading to a new laptop consider the Samsung SSD 1tb. It is well worth checking into.

Have installed Evos in my laptops and desktops. Greatly improves speed on older hardware. Saves money as old HW life can be extended. Even new HW will cost more to upgrade to SSDs but I can reuse these is I upgrade HW.

I needed to replace my laptops hard drive and so I got this one, transferred my data to in and now my laptop in screaming fast. If I had the money I would do the same thing for my wife and kids computers.

Purchased this SSD for an upgrade to a ASUS ROG laptop. The SSD is very fast and a huge improvement to the original hard drive. You cannot go wrong with Samsung SSDs are they are very highly rated.

Great workhorse of an SSD. Yeah, it's not as fast as the m2 nvme drives now days, but that's SATA's fault. I still run these as storage drives and they're definitely a lot faster than spinners.
