Considerably faster than my crucial M500 from a few year ago. Wasn’t sure if the new SSD would make a difference but definitely does. If you have a normal HD it’s a no brained upgrade. Spend the money no matter if it’s on sale or not.

This was my initial Computer Service action I experienced with Best Buy Hyannis . The Geek Squad onsite was helpful in my initial contact, I needed an appointment time slot in order to minimize waiting time. My Intake Tech was polite and knowledgeable. He explained the cost of diagnosis, cost of increased memory drives and the Geek Squad comprehensive home support program. I found the cost of diagnosis and memory drive installation was close to buying the Geek Squad protection plan, so that is what I purchased. The estimate time for service, installation and "computer improvement" all happened within the tech's stated timeframe. I was pleased with the Geek Squad total protection. Leo

This SSD has breathed new life into a seven year old computer. I was about to dump it when a friend told me about replacing the hard drive with a solid state drive. I did and just saved myself about $850.

I was looking for a way of using a SSD with a bigger space for my old PC but with less money. The 860 EVO 1TB internal SATA worked perfectly to transfer all my data without an issue. I would recommend it to anyone.

Bought this as a secondary hard drive in my desktop. Why did I pick this one? It's a Samsung. I've never gone wrong with their products. I have two TVs, a tablet and a phone. I wouldn't choose anything else.

I purchased this SSD to replace a Samsung 500mb SSD that was running out of disk space. The installation instructions were very easy to follow and the downloaded Samsung Magician software automated the data transfer quickly.

Breathed life into an aging laptop. Runs better than it did when it was new 5 years ago! The only downside is I wished it came with the necessary cables and hard drive cloning software.

The solid state drive was very easy to set up. The Samsung software made transferring the data from my old drive effortless. My computer boots much faster than before and programs execute very quickly.

I exchanged my 2014Mac Mini Drive with this one and I must say that it works like a new desktop. Everything reacts great and it has no flaws. This is a SSD for a desktop if your desktop doesn’t support M.2

This SSD is phenomenal. I owned a prior version of this drive and recently upgraded. This drive is insane! When compared to the prior version, the transfer rates are like 10x. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought thus solely to upgrade the stock hdd of the PS4 it was coming out really slow and crashes all the time........once installed this problem solved and PS4 pro works even faster and load times are shortened

My wife does a a lot of YouTube videos and was complaining of her videos freezing. We replaced her hard drive with the SSD and no more complaints of freezing videos. She also says her computer is much faster now.

I bought this to upgrade the hard drive in the PS4 Pro I bought my nephew. I can definitely tell the difference in how much faster the games load now. This is a great item for anyone wanting to upgrade their hard drive.

A little on the pricey side compared to the competition but you get what you pay for. I have used these Samsung EVO SSDs in all of my computers and they all work flawlessly and are very fast.

I switched out my HDD for this SSD in my 2012 MacBook Pro (because Mojave made my laptop slow way down). I have been happy with the results! So much faster and less scary to carry it around to classes all day!

Thanks to a Geek squad suggestion, I added this drive to my laptop and it improved the performance dramatically. I had it cloned by the Geek to become the main drive and reformatted the original to become a pure data drive.
